on the heca sub bit, I'd personally use haidate, especially if you sub out a lot of your acc during rampage (which it looks like you do) Otherwise I'd go with af2. and yeah, going with gigas bracelets should be nice, but between alky and heca I'd say its practically a wash. I personally use heca, and am probably going to until the alky furvor dies down. Only reason why I don't like them is I sub them in for dusk when I run, and I hate the -9% haste difference when I forget to switch back.

I would rather use Heca Subligar than both haidate and AF2 in almost every circumstance

i always use brutal/assault in ear slot, dont really see the point in gaining a small str increase there.

Assume hecatomb subligar unfortunately unavailable, and dynamis quite loathed. Does haidate actually help rampage numbers in any reasonable way?

It's probably an invisible-at-best boost to damage via placebo crit rate boosts. i'd imagine it's mostly for a decent bit of +ACC on rampage so you can swap out for +ACC in other places.

Only thing I would change about my gear if I could (bar HQ abjurations) would be Heca legs in full-time. That's the best leg WS piece for Rampage IMO.

I have always wondered why more WARs don't use these. The 20 att and 4 acc seem to out weigh a lot of other options. ie 15 dex(7 acc) or 5 str.

All of the very few leg drops we've had have gone to THF.

My shell gives THF, DRK, DRG priority on all heca except cap. So uh yeah.

I've always found assault earring > minuet for WS.

I'd say your WS gear should depend on where you are exping. I generally change legs depending on where I am. AF2 for mobs with lower evasion, or Byakko's Haidate is really nice for alot of camps. Nyzul Isle comes to mind for camps where I've had better results with haidate over af2.

I'm curious which people are parsing better with, Alky's or N hands, since alkys is affordable now. Its a large difference in DEX, (acc), but is the added str making up for it.

I use meat most everywhere when I can so I Rampage with a fair amount of acc.

Head: Heca
Neck: PCC
Ears: Assault/Minuet (I have no Brutal)
Body: Haub +1
Hands: Heca
Rings: 2x Flame
Back: Forager's
Waist: Potent
Legs: Haidate
Feet: Heca

This setup works pretty well, and has enough +DEX and ACC to land Rampage fairly consistently on most things. If I am having issues (like on Mamools) I'll swap in a Sniper or 2 as well. I generally use Hedgehog Pie or Red Curry depending on camp (Meat Mithkas on Colibri!).

Rampage's STR mod is so small I'd wager to say that any major differences people may claim to notice between heca and Alky are just placebo effects. Really, if you can afford the loss in acc than no harm in using Alky, otherwise probably best to go for the higher amount of acc.
