Question about Sleep stacking from a non-Mage

actually, resist messages for dispelling a mob that has no buffs on works differently than debuffing a mob with the same debuff on.

dispel CAN get resisted if there's nothing on the mob to dispel whereas casting slow on a mob that's already slowed will NEVER give you the resist message regardless if you should've been resisted or not.

Kind of necro... But just to answer the "Can Sleep II be resisted when it's already slept with Sleep I" question. Was soloing as BLM on Qiqirn in Aydeewa place.

P.S: the "Qiqirn is no longer asleep" happened like 20~ish seconds after Sleep II had been resisted.

I was going to pop in before and note that I've had it happen to me several times, but I've never had any SS to back it up. Anyways, at least now here is the proof for the skeptical ones.

Never happened to me on Bahamut 2... You never get the resist message if there are no buffs on it, and you sure as hell get it lots when it is buffed...

No, Khimaira will give you plenty of resist messages for Slow II even when cast while the spell is on. It is such a bastard to enfeeble. >_<
