The RDM CS's were all very short, and did'nt give to much details
so was wondering if anywhere in the story/game do they mention Who killed Rainemard and Why?

It was a very long time ago, but if I remember right he got caught up with some dark secrets of the church or something and it was implied that he was murdered by the church.

Hence him being cut up into pieces and stuffed in a box in Garlaige.

Yep, it was those ebil Sandorian WHMs... they lured him to Garlaige, had him killed, and nailed his body up in that box.

Seems very much like a number of horrible parties I've had there. I wonder if the Church was to blame for them too...
