DMC4 Coming to the 360 and PC

And by the time FF13 will be out, so will MGS4, Lair, Heavenly Sword, and another a handful of other good titles, and it will already be established by then.

Kojima is waiting for a 50gig single layer bluray so he could stuff everything he wants into 1 disc... I doubt he will port it over to the 360 unless MS does something with the external HD-DVD to allow it to play games.

As far as FF13 is concerned, Sony and SE have a contract that the main FF titles remain exclusives under Sony's wing, so that's completely out of the question... and FF13 ALONE will sell more consoles than the other titles would have prior to FF13's release.

AC4 released today, and i've played the Xbox360 demo, it looks better on ps3, period. From that video you can see the dynamic lighting and textures are very different, as well as the draw distance. Lighting can make or break a game btw, but it's not just the lighting thats off, the colors are very severely different. The green balance is way too high for whatever reason, and it graphics are less fluid and more pixelated. It's a port so you can't expect it to be the same, but in comparison i'd never buy the 360 verson over the ps3. As for frame rate, it would be a huge downer if it wasn't as good for the ps3 but we'll see what happends, it doesnt make sense for it to be less than the 360's.

DMC4 will be made separately for both consoles, and if they will actually port from one platform to another, it will be from the PS3 to the 360, not the other way around.

Not true, SE has no contract to soley release the main series on PS systems. However SE knows Sony heavily relies on the FF franchise and SE stated that they dont wish to see the PS3 fail. FF13 will be released on the PS3, but if the PS3 continues to do poorly, I wouldnt be surprised to see a port of FF13 even if its just to PC, or a move to another system.

I love FF games, but I wouldnt buy a 600$ console to play one.

Just saying DMC4 was probably developed on the 360 first since the engine was developed on the 360 first and it's an easier console to develop for. As someone said DMC4 was demoed on the 360 at E3.

So umm..did you like not watch any video's of the game before purchase? only redeeming factor about Resistance is the fluid no laggy gameplay. But yes, the game did suck massive penis after a week.

The Japanese went apeshit and bought PS3's by the bundle (most sales since release) when Gundam (which got horrid reviews) was released. When Heavenly Sword, Lair, Warhawk, Socom 4, MGS4/FF13-Versus are ported over, I'll begin to panic.

As far as DMC being demoed at E3? maybe, but I honestly doubt they worked on a 360 version before they started making it for the PS3. If anything, the 360 is the ported version.

It's all business, $$$$$$$ runs the gaming industry, not much loyalty left in 3rd party developers to make a game for a certain console (unless you shell out the $$$$$)

Thing is Final Fantasy games are like 1 shots, never a continuity of same story from each other, recently there have been sequels, but each numbered game is its own game/story/etc.

DMC has a history on PS2, if you just give DMC4 to 360 fans w/o telling the background story of the last 3 games, it's going to be really retarded when flashbacks happen and 360 players go, who the fuck/what the fuck?

Maybe this story is completely new (that would be good), but there looks like there are going to be tie-in to old content.

Would be hella funny, Capcom says go play DMC 1,2,3/SE on PS2 then come back for 4 on the PS3/360 ROFL! (defeated purpose, but funny nonetheless)

DMC still had to have a storyline that you had to follow to a degree, hell even Super Mario Brothers had a story, would you just like to step on turtles/goombas and hit bricks/boxes w/ ? on them all the time, w/o realizing you were doing it save the princess.
