I will admit that I had the darter dat removed when you were able to do that, but put it back when they made it so you had to have a dat there or the game crashed.

Half the time on Fairy- and I think some other servers would act similarly, I get the feeling that people camp Wyrms and TOAU mobs not because they want the drops but because they want to deny others the drops. I've seen groups of people- not mules but literal teams of people standing around for tiamat for days. Why? Gaiters are cute and all but holy fuck not even close to being worth it.

Midgard has a LS that has dominated Tiamat for about a year now and denying the other linkshells from getting the drops is the only explanation the rest of us can come up with. Surely R0 has 3 pairs of Gaiters for every LS member by now, but even so they always ditch merit PTs/other NM camps/etc. the second it pops.

Perhaps they do it because they think it annoys the rest of us, but to be honest I don't mind one bit when the entirety of the bottingest LS on the server is in Attohwa during day 8 Nidhogg. vv

Sweetiepie, I've been in r0 for two years now, yet I don't have gaiters. I (and numerous others) need them way bad irl asap though, and so we still kill Tia when we can, if we're not too busy botting. The thing about leaving Aery to kill Tiamat is that instead of wiping to her for 3 hours like your LS, we kill it in 45 minutes and then head back to Aery (to bot). The process is self-regulating; that is to say, even if we didn't rush out to kill Tiamat, another LS would just hold it for a while for us unintentionally, wipe at 85%, and then we'd still kill it. Maybe we're doing you a favor, by saving you exp!

I hate people with your fucking mindset. If you want the items so bad, join a good raiding LS and put a mule out there. Then work hard for points or divine choice and get them. Don't say that just because people camp Wyrms that they do it just to spit others. People don't always go out there just for the simple reason to spit others of drops.

Nah you know what, he's right, lets forget Tiamat and camp Khimeria with a full alliance, all day. Since Khim drops much better loot and that's a much better investment in time than spending an hour at Tiamat anyway.

P.S. That was day 4 Nidhogg, and we killed Tiamat while the rest of you wasted your time in aery and made it back to watch Fafnir pop, lol
