    WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Your missing the point that 90% of the members that do sit in Chasm are outside doing something.. not playing the game
And when we do get Tiamat and sell gaiters and get relics.. it makes farming Dynamis etc.. a whole lot easier

P.S. Just sold another pair in Rolanberry! 3500 coins bought today

I camped Timmy today and I just sat there and watched the NCAA Tourney and some random ass shows. You only have to be at the computer for like 1minute, less than that really.

I dunno about you, but being woke up from sleep to kill something isn't exactly my idea of fun.

I see no problem with idling in Chasm though since it's slightly more productive than idling in your Mog House somewhere. I've even done so on a couple occassions while playing Wii or doing things around the house.
I would prefer to be woke from sleep instead of sit there and watch every window if it spawns to be honest.
I <3 my sleep though, so maybe I'm biased.

Plus I can't say I'm familiar with Tiamat having "windows" since I never got as obsessed with him as some members of the linkshell I was in. I would just glance over at the screen from time to time to see if it popped and to check my chat log.

    true story

about 1 year and some months ago tiamat popped at like 2am in the morning. One of our blms who has a rl friend who's our main whm in the LS was asleep. The blm gave his phone number to a sack holder and he called him up on his cell and said when he answered "Wake up newb, Tiamat just popped and we need a whm, bring your punk ass to chasm".

Sure enough he was saying "are you fucking serious?" he ended up showing after and we got gaiters that night and the whole conversation was played over vent.

Seriously who buys all of those gaiters? Seems a tad ridiculous for LOL movement speed.

In fairy's defense, there was only one shell with > 2 people at tiamat yesterday when it popped.

I must admit, I never thought I'd see Asuran Fists used non-ironically against Tiamat. Did pretty good damage too.

Monk actually performs quite well against Tiamat and other Wyrms.

For the record, Tumble was on NIN sub, so his damage didn't peak quite as high as it could've.

On Pandy, I am the sole seller for gaiters. Sold over 10 between 35M to 40M each.

That is how I fund part of my relic. 8)

I see no wrong in camping and selling it for profit. Hell, last week I sold Seveneyes for 25M. After our remaining 1 PLD get her well deserved Hauteclaire, hell I am selling that too.

You cannot use the 400man hour as a benchmark. As already mentioned, only 2-3 people that are REALLY semi-afk camping it while the rest are just logged there w/e. Tiamat = $$$. That is all.

We have had a good streak of gaiters too... 8th in a row last week.

Besides, as well all know, cockblocking and denying others from drops >>> gaiters worth anyway.

I was paid for being on-call at my job, since you're treating the game like a job you should account for it the same way.

    Monk readies Asuran Fists.
Tiamat takes 289 points of damage.
Tiamat gains the effect of Meditate.
