Make sure to do the latest system upgrade(another is coming out tomorrow) and try watching some DVD's on your PS3.

It automatically fits them to the size of your TV , and they're all upscaled to HD. It's arguably one of if not the best media player money can buy at the moment.

fullscreen is the setting I have on my PS3

Then I can leave my HDTV on Normal(non-widescreen) and all DVD's automatically fill 100% of the screen, even though I never toggled the TV itself. And did mention it's far sharper than your run of the mill progressive scan player?

All of your PS2 games are upscaled to fit your HDTV screen as well with this function, all of which look better than they ever did on PS2.

Other than that it's an awesome game. A lot of unlockables although several of them are multiplayer only which kind of pisses me off.

Yea I have heard it is really short, and that the multiplayer sucks.

I wouldn't say the multiplayer sucks, it's just missing all of the darkness powers which in turn make the game what it is. Really it's no different from a bunch of other multiplayer games. The free for all matches where you can change back and forth between human and darkling as much as you want are crazy.

Story mode is definitely worth a gamefly rent... multiplayer kind of lacks IMO, i'm not gonna bother with it.

Well, I went back to Gamestop and made up a bullshit story about two separate copies of The Darkness freezing up on my PS3 yet all my other games work fine. Got a full refund and the satisfaction of still having the save game file.
