In a town close to where this happened a kid went crazy an started to scream he had a weapon or something like that. He is standing outside an cops are there an so are snipers The kids turns around an points the object at cops an sniper shoots him in the head. The item was a pear. Last i heard of it last year the dad was pissed because he didn't know why his son did it an now they will never know. Fla cops are idiots to say the least.

The police should of been arrested and charged IMHO.

They not only broke the law they also violated his constitutional rights. If they won't be arrested he should at least get some tort action going on.

its the only legal way you can commit suicide really. threaten a law enforcement officer with something that resembles a weapon.

i think the fact that they got beat up by 1 56 year old man is going to haunt them forever haha. but yea they should have been but on a manditory leave of absence without pay or some crap.

I'm sure he *could* appeal it, but there's a large hurdle in the fact that pleading no contest is essentially allowing the charge to go down in the record as fact "without contest". He'd have to have a damn good reason to fail to contest a charge when brought against him, and then turn around and contest it once it is on the books.

That said, being found not guilty of the other charges opens up the possibility of a violation-of-civil-rights suit against the cops who were found to have illegally entered his premises and illegally detained his wife with force.

He couldn't of committed the crime of disarming them if they had not been in his house violating him in the first place.

I'm sure he could have argued that, and given that he won on the rest of the charges, there's a pretty decent chance that he'd have been found as justified in disarming the armed intruders on his property.

Why are the cops stupid in this case? I don't understand. If somebody is yelling he has a weapon, then suddenly points it at cops they're sure as fuck going to be shot. I know I would open fire faster than a fat kid opens a cheetos bag if I were in that position. It's a shame he got hit in the head, but he brought it upon himself.

As for the case on topic fucking hell yes, finally a judge who actually has a brain, there is some hope after all.

I'm very confident that if I had somebody in my scope and I was supposed to be watching them very carefully, I would be able to see that he held an oblong green object in his hand. Seriously, it's like all the mistaken shootings you see of blacks where the officers get off. ZOMG he had a chalupa! HOLY SHIT his car keys were threatening.

You guys should see what’s going on in Connecticut ATM. The city of New Haven just had its drug division dismantled. The FBI came in and raided the police department and arrested about 4 cops for being corrupt who lead the division. On the down side to it the NAACP is calling for all cases that these officers were on to be reviewed now. Why is it every time something like this happens the NAACP starts crying like a bunch of little bitches? No other race’s start crying like this.

It doesn't matter, all cases should be reviewed. It would be crying if if the NAACP said to review only the cases for blacks.

The NAACP is crying racism when there was none. The cops stole money and drugs from the dealers they arrested. If anything they actually did the dealers they arrested a favor by taking evidence. When they show up to court there’s less evidence to convict them. I just find it rather annoying that every time you turn around the NAACP is there screaming racism. Get over it. Color has nothing to do with the fact they were dealing drugs to begin with. Should the cases that these cops were involved with be checked? That part is debatable. Yes the cops stole money and drugs, but they stole it from the drug dealers they were arresting. It doesn’t change the fact that these guys were out there dealing drugs in the first place.

The NAACP is a racist organization though. They believe the only people who do or deal drugs are black.

If the police were going after embezzlers corruptly the NAACP wouldn't care.

Actually yes, it's a law. Any cases these police were involved in are now called into question.

I think you’re missing my point. You want to review the cases because the cops were corrupt. Hey that’s fine with me. But say that’s why you want the cases reviewed. Don’t say you want the cases reviewed because you (the NAACP) think the cops were racist. The cops weren’t racist, they were corrupt. And for the record it was 3 white cops and 1 black 1 that were arrested. Supposedly more arrests are to follow. The NAACP tries to turn everything into a race issue when it’s not. The cops were arresting and stealing from everyone not just the blacks.

Well, that's sort of what the NAACP is man...why wouldn't they turn it into a race issue? They're representing a specific race. Not that I agree with them.

Remember those Duke kids that were FALSELY accused of raping that black stripper at Duke U? I remember when the NCAAP got on TV and basically called out the white race because of these guys, and they falsely accused them without having all of their facts straight. Turns out the case is dropped and there hasn't been a single apology issued for this. Those kids lives are probably ruined.

From what I understand, they've been admitted back into Duke not because of "you didn't do it after all" but rather "with the direction this case has taken, its more important that you continue taking care of your educational needs" or some bullshit. I think one of the kids went back, one is still deciding on it, and the other was convicted of a different crime.

Seriously, asking for formal apologies from any organized government/school/religion/etc is like asking for world peace.

Well, yeah, they shouldn't have to ask for apologies. But whatever happened to innocent unti proven guilty? The NAACP was all up in arms over this and said these guys were guilty. That equals slander in my mind. I would sue the fuck out of them.
