I've never really understood this line of thought with rare items. Why would it be a bad thing if more players had what's considered a good item? Besides the obvious reduction of 'epeen'.

almost exactly this exact situation happens to my father, who works in a factory making farm equipment. The only difference is when it's time to lay off people, he still has a job when they don't. That's how he deals with it.

It's a comparison for a reason, it's the same idea... He's not saying you should get as mad as the real life situation, but it still doesn't feel good.

It looks like another good post with tons of other posts that just talk nonsense, I hope this pattern of behavior is stopped and people who do continue are banned from the site. Too many good posts have been locked and lots of good information in them become hard to find due to the pile of crap written on thru out it, people please learn to keep the posts clean.

Does it look like I'm not welcoming this change? I want a speedbelt too you know... What my sentence said, if you read it, is that if it does drop from a BCNM20 people can spam the fuck out of it... and that SE doesn't put a ridiculously low drop rate. Nowhere in there will you ever read any mention of me stating that a low cost, high drop rate BCNM would be a bad thing.

i think you misunderstood... im not saying give everyone a free speedbelt on signing up for the game.. im saying everyone should have an equal chance to get the item.. as in no cockblocks ... people who bot =/= people who work harder

putting something in a KS or BCNM allows people to "work hard" as much as they want by farming seals, and their reward is more chances and higher probability of getting speed belt or any other item moved to a KS/BC

that's the statement in question. i think everyone agrees it should be in a BCNM, but some people want it to have a high drop rate from the BC and some people don't.

MMOs are kind of odd, compared to other games. In any other game, there are winners and there are losers. I used to play tennis in college. If I had a match with someone, either I would win or he would win. Nobody would ever suggest changing tennis so that everybody wins.

But that's what the MMO mentality is.

People think everybody should win, and the people who would have been the winners had this been like a normal game reassure themselves with the notion that at least they "won" first. However, one thing should be obvious by now; this isn't a game. It's impossible to lose. Some people may reach the finish line before others, but then they are never really finished.

It's like Monopoly; you pass Go, collect $200, and then circle the the board again. You buy and sell things, cockblock other players, and build up your empire on Yellow and Orange only to be bankrupted by that guy's only hotel on Park Place. However, unlike Monopoly, you can never truly lose. You just call IGE and keep on going.

The word you are looking for is "Fair chance" and I am all for it. And I dont know how the people who have had all the great gear for a while agree with the notion that by far, most of the best gear is 3-4 year old.

If your epeen is injured in this update, just pray that SE will add more cool things for you guys to have fun with .

Im not hating btw, just a fair chance with no bots and not vs 100 rmt is much nicer.
