I don't understand why you need mod to make everyone look not ugly in this game. Main game should come with pretty people >_>
It changes the entire battle configuration. Battles are more realistic and drawn out, forcing you to plan your attacks and movements instead of jamming on the 'attack' button. He rewrote the entire game's AI, Added 3 new factions [slave traders, amazons] with quests related to them, Added wearable capes, All of the city guards wear different armour based on rank, Guards who are stationed outside have wear and tear on their armour, Dozens of new armour pieces/weapons/arrows in the game, including new armour classes [defensive staves and halberd/bardiche], as well as modifying the entire leveled enemy scheme so there are harder/easier enemies in the game instead of always finding enemies that are coincidentally your level.Originally Posted by Exoduso
He basically rewrote all of the game dynamics. It's pretty sweet.
I two window it with FFXI
I've been playing the PS3 version for a couple of hours now, and it seems like the loading times are much faster, and the game doesn't lag as much as it used to on the 360.
The graphical update is really nice as well.
Anyone know if the Knights of the Nine expansion (wel...mini expansion) is on the PS3 version?
It is, I read the review on 1up.
Holy shit, that's blows away the 360 and PS3 versions.Originally Posted by cassiraa
I didn't realise his mod was that extensive....
Maybe Bethesda will buy the rights and sell it to Microsoft/Sony and add it to the marketplace for 360 and Playstation Network for PS3?
Wouldn't that sound feasible?

And yes this game is A LOT better on the PC with mods.
That is if you have a computer that can run it wellOriginally Posted by Semitry
. I like getting the PC version, however I do hate having to tweak settings just to run it smoothly. But yeah I ended up getting the PS3 version. I enjoy it so far. I'm only 3 hours in and yeah no modding, but I still like what I've played so far.
I have it for the 360 and I must say it's my favorite game i've played on the 360.
I am 1000/1000 for the 360 achievements for that game.
Pretty sure it's part of the realistic illusion they wanted to create. In real life people usually have many imperfections, and that's just now. Back in the time this game would take place if it had a point in history, people wouldn't look much better than they do in the game (if not much worse).Originally Posted by Kaylia
I think it was an interesting decision, and I kind of like that approach. Although, in the end I'd probably still like everyone looking like super models better just because it's nicer on the eyes. Some of those NPCs are kinda scary.I know I've killed a few just for looking absofuckinglutely horrid.
Shimerring Isles needs to come out alreadyyyyyyyy.
I recently visited an exhibit of Baroque art at my local gallery and goddamn, even back then the kind of people that were depicted in realistic portraits (usually nobility) looked like freaking mongoloids. I'm skeptical that Bathesoft had what RKenshin had in mind when they designed the NPCs.Originally Posted by RKenshin
