Question about DAT editing

In terms of macros, there's really no way for them to prove that you're not just typing it out each time from memory. And a GM can't scan your DATs as far as I know, so that one disgruntled member can't get you in trouble unless you admit to it in front of a GM. Just talk about it on your forums, and not in game.

your client log will show the invalid names though. i dont know how much a GM would act on this or if theyd check but the possibility is there.

Yes, your log would show this in text, but when it comes to dealings with monsters, GMs typically check the server's own logs because of possible lag or client issues. Which means they'd just see "Player uses Provoke on the Vanguard Eye".

So basically, you're only going to get banninated if you're dumb enough to use <t> in /s, /p, /l, etc.
