I usually do it when I come off the big jump right at the end of the Dust Devil track, it's pretty sick and it gets you some nice speed when you're coming off the end of that bridge to race to the finish line.

sounds like you're referring to landing back wheel first, from my experience that reduces the "hop" when landing hard.Originally Posted by Exoduso
But Iw as really referring to regular flat racing, and jerking back on the wheel and hitting boost and flying by some guy on one wheel shaking your fist.
I'm pretty sure I did it before, but I pay more attention to who's behind me than to the tricks I pull off heh.
Mysterio what is your AIM SN?
Don't use AIM, Ventrillo, but I do have MSN messenger, but seldom use it lol.
Just use a headset for Motorstorm, I'm using the one I got for free with Socom US Navy Seals the first one, lol.
I don't have a USB headset![]()
can use a USB or a Bluetooth if you wanna be fancy.Originally Posted by thestalkmore
probably get a simple logitech USB one like mine for less than 20 bucks.
You guys creating another game? or calling it a night? I'm ready to race, lol.
Cause if you're both taking off I'm gonna play Armored Core.
For some reason i'm still stuck on Hero, even though i've seen Legends with scores far worse.
Motorstorm looks amazing ; ;
Sucks-ass I have to wait till I get it as a present from my aunt.. which is taking forever XD
Looks like ill be seeing MotorStorm2, before my aunt ever gives me the f'n game
Gimme Heavenly Sword! ;;
Damn you guys for making me want to get this...
Is it system seller worthy?
please be honest, and not biased/fanboyish
I might have to get this with my tax return <.<
I would say the online is extremely entertaining... and if you're into Virtua Fighter/Resistance/Lair/Heavenly Sword, it's definitely worth picking up a PS3 in the summer.
By itself? I guess it depends on how much you enjoy it and the racing genre in general... offline sucks big time, but online play is where it's at.
Kinda like the 360? lolOriginally Posted by Exoduso
By the way, is MotorStorm SCEA? Or is it 3rd party? Just wondering since I am seriously thinking 3rd party exclusivity may be a thing of the past. I am not looking to start that debate, just asking a question of whether Motorstorm is first party.
Yeah, it's first party.Originally Posted by Po

There's no 2 player mode is there?
WTH is this then?

And this game looks fun! I'll pick it up when I get a ps3 a year or so from now.
Look at the guy in the black suit... his thing is not even connected lol, he's just pretending.
wireless >.> or maybe checking out a controller lol, idk
Yeah but this is at an event thing, they won't let you walk around with controllers heh... besides, see how there are already 2 connected to the PS3 they're using? and the person in white is using one that is connected.
Just a stupid photo heh....Motorstorm doesn't have offline multi.
Motorstorm as a system seller?
I dunno, it worked for me though. I got a PS3 the day Motorstorm came out. But I had planned on picking up several titles within a month regardless. I wouldn't say it "sold" the system for me, I was going to pick up the PS3 eventually, it simply hastened my decision of "when".
Motorstorm is indeed alot of fun online. It is a blast to play even if you're -not- a racing fan. The crash animations and "holy shit" moments are far too realistic to not be fun. Anyone who says it isn't fun to play online is kidding themself.
And it's got voice support, which is fun when playing with friends. Motorstorm is made by Evolution Studios, and published by Sony. And there may be downloadable content in the future, judging by the success of the game I would assume so. This content may include new tracks and new vehicles.
