sounds like you're referring to landing back wheel first, from my experience that reduces the "hop" when landing hard.

But Iw as really referring to regular flat racing, and jerking back on the wheel and hitting boost and flying by some guy on one wheel shaking your fist.

I would say the online is extremely entertaining... and if you're into Virtua Fighter/Resistance/Lair/Heavenly Sword, it's definitely worth picking up a PS3 in the summer.

By itself? I guess it depends on how much you enjoy it and the racing genre in general... offline sucks big time, but online play is where it's at.

Yeah but this is at an event thing, they won't let you walk around with controllers heh... besides, see how there are already 2 connected to the PS3 they're using? and the person in white is using one that is connected.

Motorstorm as a system seller?

I dunno, it worked for me though. I got a PS3 the day Motorstorm came out. But I had planned on picking up several titles within a month regardless. I wouldn't say it "sold" the system for me, I was going to pick up the PS3 eventually, it simply hastened my decision of "when".

Motorstorm is indeed alot of fun online. It is a blast to play even if you're -not- a racing fan. The crash animations and "holy shit" moments are far too realistic to not be fun. Anyone who says it isn't fun to play online is kidding themself.

And it's got voice support, which is fun when playing with friends. Motorstorm is made by Evolution Studios, and published by Sony. And there may be downloadable content in the future, judging by the success of the game I would assume so. This content may include new tracks and new vehicles.
