There's only about 5-6 NAs that goes to Kujata 60/75 caps regularly, the only times we get above 10+ a team is during late night/early mornings when the JPs are up. Brenner is dead and nobody is ever in Diorama-Ghelsba.

I bet my RNG/WAR could handle a BLU easily, if I had all JAs up :D

I think 60 is pretty balanced... I mean you don't got that 2 Utsu /NIN sub that pretty much "breaks" the game in PvE as well as PvP.

Too bad BLMs are really weak in 60 ;/. I'ma try /NIN next Ballista and see how that goes for me.

idk about that. I'm a Ballista noob and when I go on BLU, I just tear through people. Side/Slug and Barrage only take like one shadow, I think?(fought a COR and his WSs were usually eaten by a shadow) So you prolly wouldn't even get through their shadows before they were on top of you.

I went for the first time on BLU a couple days ago and it was too much fun. I would just charge into people and detroy them, half the time they would try to run and I just snipe them in the back with Cannonball or watch them die a few moments later to Disseverment poison.

rdm could dominate a mnk if he gravity, dot, bind, nuke, ect and the mnk didnt have any type of catholion(SP, and i think it may be called something else lol), but a pro mnk with faith bagh's and well over 2k hp would run the rdm down until his stoneskin breaks and then its game over

Monk, meet Ice Spikes. Ice Spikes, meet Monk.

In a prebuffed fight, with good players, I don't think a Monk can carry enough medicine to deal with a RDMs debuffs.

BTW, with the faith h2h weapons mnk hits rdm for 0 dmg with phalanx and good dmg mitigation gear. Don't even need stoneskin.

Yeah, I would agree on that, I usually uncap ballista on RDM/WAR and between the 550-600ish def, phalanx and dmg- gear most MNKs can't break my stoneskin quick enough to kill me, especially with debuffs on. I would say it is certainly an uphill race for MNKs if the RDM is geared for melee.

you're right a rdm would have no problem with a mnk if they subbed war and wore all dmg- stuff, but it would take for ever and its not really fair. all mage jobs minus smn and brd could just sub rdm, put on dmg-, ice spikes, kite and dot any melee with no problem at all, but i dont really consider that 1v1, though technically it is

15dmg will still interupt a cast, and a mnk with faith's isnt going to give you much of a chance to cast. unless the mnk has grav and is in the middle of a good para

    not fair? lol?

YOU CANT USE YOUR ARMOR ITS NOT FAIR!

Monk with Ice Spikes para, blind, slow, and a RDM with full -damage, defender, etc. Its not even a competition. Faith Baghanks are HELPFUL to the RDM, not a hinderance. 15 damage is very generous in a full -damage setup, and with aquaveil said hits will not often interrupt casting.

Oh, and thats not even considering the fact that even if you do manage 15 damage on every single hit, you need to attack around 23 times before you even break stoneskin.

PS: Sub RDM Phalanx is weak as dogpiss.

not for whm or pld, and i meant rdm sub for gravity mainly. i admit i'm wrong about mnk>rdm but i was thinking about rdm/nin meleeing against a mnk when i was typing what i typed lol, i havent played ffxi in about 6 months i forgot how easy it was to mess with people on my rdm when i went /war with all dmg- gear, a taco, and defender, i would just /sit and let melee's try and kill me all day. but at the same time i didnt really enjoy going as rdm because i found it funner and it was alot easier for me to get a gold chevron on one of my melee jobs

Back then i'd just /blm and play backline and didn't need. :D When I switched to /RNG + /SAM I started investing in better dmg mitigatiom gear :D

Rdm wouldn't have to kite either, they can straigh up fight the mnk. If stoneskin is somehow broken it's just a matter of bind (if you start casting bind the moment they hit you it'll land uninterrupted before the next punch), running back a bit and recasting stoneskin, before running back to melee. I do it all the time :D
