Monk was so much fun in 40 cap. As long as you had H2H merits, you're dealing out Raging Fists for 500 while eveyrone else is hitting you with Stone II, Raging Axe, and Fast Blades lol.

Hell for a long time there I had gear for every single level cap because Ballista was that popular and fun. It has died out quite a bit though, and only the hardcore players seem to continue with it.

Also to answer an earlier question, the reason I think 60 cap is so much fun is because the jobs are so well balanced around this level. 2handed weapon jobs can sub Sam, BLMs aren't so overpowering, and it's just the right level where everyone has a decent Weaponskill or two. Nothing beats going RNG/SAM, using Camo, and then using Sidewinder to one shot an innocent Taru.

I love ballista but JP dominate the uncaps and 60 caps, and JP ballista is score whore not fun. You have about 10-20 people per team all Rngs Blms Rdms and Sam/rngs and if ANYONE makes a wrong move they get raped and the other team goes to score. You can't mellee, you can't fight, you can only wait for someone to make a stupid mistake.

Wow, weird. I'm usually the only BLM and range attack users are never more than 1/4 of the total amount of people. Same can be said for RDM. A lot of melee.

PS: I'm not sure if you are speaking about before or after the update, but from my personal experience, you can't really rely on Bind as much.

If i wanted to wait around for 10 minutes for someone to make a mistake, i would have camped fafnir instead.
