FFIX didn't have Sephiroth or emo fags like Squall. It was completely original, I loved it. Although Zidane and Kuja reminded me of Saiyans with those tails.

FF9 was boring, with random last boss from no-where badinkadink. I heart my FF8. Squall = Cloud = Garnet = Yuna(FFX1) on emo factor.
I heard that you can play Tetra-master through POL somehow, dunno if there's any truth to that.
Last boss was Kuja, and he wasn't comming out of nowhere. >_> Well, you do fight the big monster/god thing Kuja freed from the crystal, but why would you need to learn about it, his role was about the same as the meteor in FFVII?Originally Posted by Lordwafik
Yeah, >_> on POL just click on Tetra Master, it's right next to FFXI. I've never tried it out though.Originally Posted by Stilgar
Edit: It's that way on PS2 at least, I forgot that PC has an option to bypass POL.
I love FF9.
I think it's a bit of a stretch to equate Necron with Meteor. Debating how good a FF game was is sorta stupid. (unless it's FFX-2 not counting the gameplay)Originally Posted by Kaylia
it's ok, I was using some lame form of sarcasm to take a jab at POL and how useless it is. Tetramaster should have been something you could do in FFXI while LFG... they could even make it where you could card battle npcs around Vana'diel...Originally Posted by Avé
Cecil in ff4 was more emo than Squall.
anyways, never really understood the card game in 9 very well, but loved 8's. Was there ever any point to getting cards in 9 again? I can't recall there being any point. I think i got every card in 8 except that alien card and a couple cards from that queen. Great game, although I hated the random rule. You'd always get 1 face card out, and then the rest lvl 1 cards and you'd lose your face card..lol
