Just saw this with my g/f, we both really enjoyed it. I thought the CGI was very well done, and from what i remember, they kept the characters very true to the originals.

My thoughts too. When the movie first started up I was like "Oh shit I shouldnt have blown money on this or thought it was going to be good. This is just so damn corny" but then it started getting better and better slowly and was awesome from there on.

Just came back from the show. Seriously, they should just call it fucking Raphael. What the hell? Even Casey had more screentime than Donatello. Raphael as Ghost Rider, Raphael beating Leo, Raphael emo issues, Raphael this, Raphael that.

It's a good show, but they focused too much on Raphael.

I loved the movie though splinter's voice was the only downfall to the movie.

april o neil was a ninja in the comics btw casie was kinda gimp though i thought.

Also that ninja chick kirai i think her name is? She's the original leader of the foot clan or something along those lines.

The Raphael vs. Leonardo fight was awesome. They did really well on the fight scenes.

movies were so better, i think with actors it could have been much better but then they would have a harder time with the fight scenes and the monsters

I went and saw it last night and I thought it was amazing, I loved the fight scenes and I thought the story worked really well, they really did a good job with Raphael and Leonardo I think, and we all knew it was going to come down to a fight, and I always figured Raph would win in the end. April was hella cute and it was bad ass to see her as a ninja, I can't wait for TMNT 2 (with Shredder in it of course, theres no way they can't make it after dropping that bomb at the end of the movie)

It was entertaining. Brought back memories of the old cartoons and the original TNMT arcade game and NES ones.

No sorry, I don't believe they used those old school phrases ;(. But they really teased everyone at the end saying some foes from the past will eventually come back. Probably straight to DVD releases though or maybe smaller releases.
