Cleaning weapon (yes another one of these D:)

I was just wondering about a few things. . . .

Do wses that have no SC property clean? I.E. Spirits within(I think thats only one?)

The rest is about NMS. . .

Do NMs that give exp clean?

Do NMs that don't give exp clean (I.E. lower level like Leaping Lizzy for example)?

Would NM clean if is above your level but doesn't give exp due to it being event nm? With that being said can you clean on avatars?

Can you clean in dynamis?

I'm not sure how it originated just thats what everyone says lol. Also for most people two hours are refered to as SP rather than two hour on my server, was on midgard before and i said SP everyone looked at me retarded. (SP is short for special like special ability btw < <)

Some people refer to unlocking latents on trial weapons as "cleaning" the weapon. At least, thats what I've heard people on Sylph call it, dunno about other servers. Maybe that will clear up some of the confusion...

I can't answer your questions, but I wanted to say that I really hope you don't plan on using a trial weapon in Dynamis >_>;

We say that you break a trial weapon or a KS30 weapon on Titan, in reference to "breaking" the latent effect. Also, Brutus literally says that you need to break the Pick of Trials when doing the Decimation quest.

Spirits Within/Spirit Taker/Energy Drain/Moonlight/Starlight all count.

I'm pretty sure I broke sapara of trials on Capricious Cassie, so I'd go with yes you can break on NMs as long as they give exp. (Come to think of it, does Cassie even give exp? I don't remember)

On sylph I havent heard anything other than "clean" a trial weapon and we mostly use SP because the SP icon that pops up when you 2hr. So we use SP on whatever 2hrs (hnm, gods and whatnot).

I have never realized that the lingo for such trivial things to be SO different between servers lol.

When I got my Senj it looked pretty clean to me. It hadn't touched a mob yet. I usually call it breaking, like "breaking it in" as with a new pair of shoes.

Not all 2hrs have the SP icon for it. In fact, I'd say very few do.
