We should of just picked Presidents of obscure countries like Guernsey and Lithuania, and called it "Unimportant Nations Madness". It would be a little more predictable and I think people would have a better clue on what they are voting on. Cuz, this shit is madness indeed.

Anyway, at the end of the first round, I am: 28/32.

26/32 after the completion of round one.

My San d'Oria bracket took a huge hit to the lower half (I'm looking at you Destin) , but it pales in comparisson to the damage Windy not only did to my score already, but will do in later rounds since I automatically lose all remaining points for the bracket. Windurst is basically a smoldering ruin. My primary mistakes were betting on the popularity of the Radioactive Rodent, not knowing who Semih was, nor realizing the latent popularity of Ajido (I only gave him a round 1 win). I blame SE for not letting us switch nations without losing outposts, or I'd have a much better understanding of the other countries.

While I'm not doing horribly after round one, I sense my brackets doom in the very near future, unless my gamble picks pay off.

Edit: Barring a Diabolos comeback, looks like the I'm going 8/16 for a total of 34/48 .... yuck.

I'm totally done keeping score. I don't think I did or am doing too badly, but Lion vs Aldo traumatized me too much and I just can't have fun with it anymore. I'm still going to vote and talk about the characters, because the concept is still fun to me... but only from the viewer position.
