Looking for music groups that sound like these

The Thrill (aka the band the made the Blue Sub soundtrack)
The Seat Belts (aka the band that did 90% of the cowboy bebop stuff)

Best I can describe them is as Japanese Big Band, with a sax heavy sound.

Ok, I've been searching everywhere for the past few months about not only how to describe these bands, but how to find music like them. Doesn't necessarily have to be Japanese, and doesn't necessarily have to be sax heavy. But I'm looking for groups with a similar big-band, dense, upbeat sound.

Any ideas?

The Seat Belts are such a good band, i have like 4 of their CDs.

I've tried last FM, no luck. The only big-band types they have there are things like Benny Goodman and the old 40s Swing bands. And these bands are barely listed, let alone has similar groups that actually have tracks to preview. I'll try pandora.com, but not expecting too much luck.

Correction: Pandora actually came up with music like it, wtf >.>
