CT/CC or FF?

Meh, CT doesn't have many options to choose from, that and a shitty sequel. FF (snes) Vs CT (snes), I choose you CT!

For giggles, I just tested myself if I could remember the characters from those games. For CT I remember all (Chrono, Marle, Luca, Robo, Frog, Aya, and Magus, did I forget any?). FF on the other hand, took me a while to remember Tidus and Wanka lol.... Terra I do remember instantly though ;x

I don't understand why so many people think CC is a bad game. It wasn't much of a sequel, but it was still a solid game. The only things I didn't like about it were: the small world, the fact that there were 40 party members, and the auto-level system.

The game was beautiful and the music was amazing. I used to sit in the boat on the world map and turn up the volume so I could listen to that music while doing my homework. I don't know, maybe it was a bad game, I haven't played it in 5 yrs, maybe I'm just blinded by nostalgia.

For a lot of us, 40 party member is a big turn off. First of all, there is like 20 of them who are ugly, useless and uninteresting. That wouldnt be a problem if other character were developped well, but because there was too many, they all lacked somethin. Starky, Neofio and Pip were made of win tho, cutest team ever!

That said, the main cast and the story when you ignore the sidestory is pretty good, it's just too short. Harle was great (and cute), same with great. Serge was decent, but silent hero should be avoided imo.

40 characters is nothing if you've played any Suikoden.

Well silent hero is understandable since they did it with CT. Nevertheless CC while having some INCREDIBLE aspects to the game (music was definitely better than CT, main storyline for the majority of the game was as good as CT), it was sorely lacking in a lot of other things.

If you go by how good the games were on release, CT is by far better than the majority of FFs except for perhaps 2 or 3 of them though CC is for sure not. If we're specifically talking about SNES console though, CT easily is in the top 3 imo (with Super Metroid being, of course, #1).
