How important is shadow in FF6?

Weird I used Sabin, that ability to have two turns per "round" and do 2x Bum rush for capped dmg and Gogo mimic him, killed Kefka in one round. My highest characters were around 42-45. I rarely used Gau, Relm, Shadow.

Shadow was more useful in the SNES version. Steal from the boss right before Kefka. Get Atma Weapon, throw 2 at Kefka, game is done.

If i recall, kefka has 58,000 hp. hell, he never gets in an attack other than heartless angel. I like Goner (Different name in GBA) and Havock Wing is sexy

It really doesn't matter...throwing Ragnarok, Atma Weapon, or Illumina at him was an instant KO.

Man my SNES doesn't run my copy of FFVI anymore, and all the emulator versions I see are in JP ;;

Anyone have a link to an English version of it? I really don't wanna have to search pawn shops and what not for a new copy.

Has FF6 in various versions which can be patched using other files found on the site. This includes a fan translation that's a straight translation from the original Japanese game, no editing.

The site also has some of the best RPGs ever made for the SNES, and has been one of my favorite emulation sites for years. I personally recommend Terranigma, as it never got a US release. Enjoy 8)

Just stumbled on these screenshots while looking at this site.

This patch (which is to be applied to Final Fantasy 3 (US)) replaces most of the main dialogue with hilarious jokes, most of which are perverted jokes. It's very funny!

As much as I like laughing, messing with FF6 should be ILLEGAL !
