What's not to understand? 360 won't play games in HD-DVD/Bluray.

Sony DID create the bluray, so if you look at it from MS's perspective, it would be dumb to take Sony's device instead of their own.

And 100 bucks for a 360 Wifi card is retarded, especially when my router is 10 feet away from the console.

I have to agree with this wholeheart. There are no console wars. Gamers will play whatever they find good. Consoles just cost too much money now which is egging on this little "war". I remember when it started back when Xbox hit the market. Back then it was Playstation and Nintendo. Playstation was the home entertainment center type deal and Nintendo was the "fucking awesomely fun games but none that are really violent" company. Then Xbox came into the field and suddenly everyone was talking about; "Omg graphics are what is important, graphics graphics. Did you see the bloom on that game? THAT BLOOM WAS FUCKING AWESOME OMG."

I will admit they arnt doing all they could with PS3 right now, but I believe it is because they still have very good sales of PS2. Looking at how quick MS jumped from Xbox to 360 and then stopped the production of originals kind of sucks. I mean what about people that would like to play an Xbox game but cant shell out the money for a 360 yet?

At that price I'd just spend another $100 and buy the 60gig PS3 version. Sony made a really great point about the PS3 and the new "Elite" 360. At $475, the cheap PS3 is now only $25 more expensive then than 360, but on top of having the HDMI port, it also plays blu-ray discs, making the 360 pricepoint kinda LOL.

My laptop has a 75gig harddrive on it, I've had the laptop for almost 5 years now, and it still has over 28 gigs of free space left. And this is my only computer, with all of my PC games loaded on it, videos, work, etc.

Theres just no way in hell you'll need 120 gigs on a console, even if they expect you to treat the Xbox marketplace like iTunes.

Nah, EB doesnt take used premiums as tradeins. The hard drive is a seperate item. For example a core would be 180, and if you have a 20 gig, you get 40 for that. They'll probably lower the value of the HDD but not the system istelf.

Gameswise yeah you pretty much always get screwed. The only thing that I like about GS/EB is they they always offer upgrade deals when a new system/remake comes out. Like when the black/pink DS came out you could trade in your white and pay an extra 30 bucks for one of the new colors. Hopefully they'll treat the elite the same way.

But then again theyre in "limited" quantities so who knows...
