EDIT: As for the above picture... holy fuck lol, but where are the 360 and PS3? And doesn't it get annoying playing the Wii with the TV being so high up? (i'm assuming that's where all those cables are going.)

EDIT2: WhoDat, if half those titles move over i'll be happy heh. (Especially Bioshock, but my money's on the Capcom titles more just because of the reason you stated heh.)

lol I wasn't trying to be bitchy at you Exo I too have had little sleep as of late. We own Motorstorm and my husband has played it online. I am not saying it's a bad game at all. I was just saying my personal opinion is I don't like racing games. I did however... really like ATV Off road Fury games for the PS2, but not the racing parts. I just liked driving around all over on the ATVs in the free roaming parts.

By the way... Exo did you see that Blue Dragon won't be out here in the US until like August..? Makes me sooo mad they are taking so long with the translation process. I guess the only bright side is that L.O. is having it's localization done all it once so it will launch everyone at the same time. Oooh plus Sakaguchi all but confirmed there will be more Blue Dragons, he said BD2, and BD3 were things he was looking forward too.

Oh god, BD and LO are the only reason I kept my 360... gonna be a lonnnnnnnng way till August heh. BD sequels sounds nice though, I wonder if it'll be the same story though or if they're gonna try and copycat the FF series.

And yeah, Motorstom is pretty boring offline, but I've had so much fun with it online (and I usually don't really like playing online games because of random tards -- especially after quitting FFXI), but this is just different and it works.

Resistance is extremely boring, I can't even get myself to finish it (but then again, I got Gears to compare it to so it's not really fair for Resistance heh.)

The only other PS3 title I got is Oblivion, and i'm loving the short loading times (in comparison to 360's).

I'd love some more titles, but I guess it's fine for now... I still got a good 3-4 PS2 RPGs I need to finish off... and between classes, work, and the fact I barely sleep during the week, it will take me a good while to finish those.

still saving the money.. I didn't mainly buy the wii because it was cheaper or I'm all Nintendo-only or anything; I just knew it was the hardest to find and probably the wisest to get out of the way. I'm waiting for the Elite now.. I'll definately buy that before a PS3, but as you can kinda see, I'd like them all. My biggest draw to the 360 is probably Halo 3.. I almost want to buy a 360 and fucking Crackdown.. all for a beta invitation, but I think I can hold off until the end of April.

And.. the TV isn't high up at all.. that's just a mini-wall in the middle of my apartment there. If you look really closely at the top left corner, you can see the start of the top of it where the TV sits. The top of the TV isn't even 5 feet off the ground; it sits well below my eye level a bit when I'm standing.. so it works pretty well with Wii.

Christian Svensson, Capcom USA's senior director of strategic planning and research, is a busy chatter on the Capcom message boards lately. He recently responded to questions over the company's plans for multi-platform support in the future, and why Devil May Cry 4 was coming to Xbox 360, while 360-only for now releases Lost Planet and Dead Rising haven't been announced for PlayStation 3.

There aren't a long number of reasons for Capcom to spend time porting either game to PlayStation 3 when they've finished marketing on Xbox 360 and their immediate successes surely green lit immediate sequels for both. Dead Rising could arrive as early as later this year, and wouldn't Capcom benefit more from bringing a fleshed out sequel to PS3, rather than spend time porting something almost a year old?

Resident Evil 4 was ported from GameCube to PlayStation 2 because the massive Sony userbase meant the coding efforts would pay off. With PS3, that's not necessarily the case -- building sequels from the ground up for both platforms is a far less ambitious endeavor.

Capcom message board users couldn't really agree on the subject, though, and Svensson himself eventually locked the thread he'd help spark into sharp debate. Any Lost Planet sequel is almost assuredly a few years off, but a Dead Rising 2 announcement tied to the rumored Dead Rising Platinum Hits edition with added co-op seems interesting.

Motorstorm is fucking awesome though, can't take that away from Sony.

It's Bethany Exo, not "Bathany". I own a PS3, I just feel as do many others let down by Sony. I hope the future gets better for the PS3, but it's a long road before they get there. Motorstorm is ok I guess, but then again I'm not fond of those types of games. Variety is the spice of life, & it's a variety of good games that's keeping the PS3 from being what it should be.

I can live with the sequels heh... even though it doesn't really make sense, because how are you supposed to play a sequel story when you can't play the first game to begin with? (for those that own either one or the other that is.) Same thing goes for DMC4 on 360, but that's a bit different since pretty much everyone has a PS2 and they could just buy the anniversary pack and play all 3 (I bought mine off capcom.com cus no one else seems to have it, and the ebay prices are ridiculous) before DMC4 comes out.

And.. the TV isn't high up at all.. that's just a mini-wall in the middle of my apartment there. But what happens when you want to play stuff like Zelda, do you stand also? I'd imagine it would get kind of annoying heh. I got a 42" HDTV right now, but I have it sitting on a stand that is the height of my sitting eye level, and because it's so big it works pretty well if I stand also. I was thinking of hanging it once the Elite came out because I won't need to switch cables anymore, and then buy one of those wall mounts that have a hand where you can move the tv to any direction you want and pull it out of the wall, but keep it at the same level just because of games like Zelda where I won't want to stand all the time.

I wouldn't want Lost Planet anyways... I played the demo on the 360, and besides the graphics I wasn't really impressed with anything.

And Deadrising's sequel will probably hit the PS3.

Wouldn't suprise me one bit if they released them on PS3 or the sequels for them. I don't have the exact quote but I remember reading an article on the web quoting the director I think of Devil May Cry 4 saying how the PS3 was the only system powerful enough for DMC4 and I'm sure well all know by now what happened next. But then again MS does have enough money to throw at Capcom to keep them exclusive if they felt it's important enough.

I was just gonna post that, beat me to the punch.

I am not gonna go into the whole console war discussion that has evolved, rather I will just touch on the subject of the thread.

Unfortunately for me, I am susceptible to new shiny things, so now for the next month I am going to have to talk myself out of getting a new 360. I am really hoping M$ and/or GS/EB has some sort of special deal for trading in your old 360. If I could get this by paying ~300 for it then I probably would. Because I was most likely planning on getting 2 black controllers and a hard drive anyway, which would be close to me paying around 300 for the whole thing, so yea.

As far as the Hard Drive, Bethany brings up a good point (her scary avatar not withstanding). MS is giving us the option here of the new HD if we want it. Me personally, I like the feeling of being future protected, so I will probably get it. If I never fill up the whole thing fine, but at least I know I'll never run out of room with the 20 gig, which is a possibility.

Ninja Edit - Exo, more TMNT tonight? Anyone else who wants to play too with a 360 is invited 4 player would be fun as hell. I call Don!
