yesterday i was exping and going back and forth between great katana and polearm.

switched to polearm and only great katana weapon skills would show up. Had to switch out and switch back again for polearm WS to show up

Camping one of the new NMs tonight, got a weird message... Somehow hit ranged macro instead of WS macro ans saw this in the chatlog: "Jetblack's ranged attack strikes true, pummeling the Ahriman for 40 damage!" I can understand something being different because using a ranged attack so close to the mob, but I've never seen that message before...

Its part of the new update, ranged attacks give slightly different messages based on your distance from the mob.
