It looks like it deaggro'd, your re-pull proc hit firesday as is the bug, and then got a new weakness because it had gone idle. Not very hard to figure out.

Are you completely sure it didn't?

I had already deaggrod and had just cast on it for the first time after resetting (lightning weakness) since after deaggro it usually takes 2-3 spells to get it to stay claimed. That could have been why too, since it seems if you cast on it he'll just turn yellow again right after (but doesn't go passive from what I've seen).

You generally need to stay 30+ from the mob for 30 secs to make it go passive, so if that happened on the short run back to the wall after resetting then I'm even more confused.

It's a bug since last update. Discern procs on pull seem to always say fire but it's not a real hint.

Okay, so my lil' pickup group is fighting Teekesselchen. I look away, and in the ten seconds I'm browsing another page my ninja speed betrays me and shock spikes has raped me and I'm on the ground. So I get up, it's at like 3%, big deal. Can get it, BLM can destroy it, tada. Mean to use a Fool's Drink and accidentally use Fanatic's. No biggie, it's almost dead. In fact, I'm happy when I see it uses Mysterious Light, thinking my Fanatic's will block it. It does... sorta. See screenshot.

I woulda figured it had worn at this point, but I guess it must have lagged. Since I was on NIN and I don't see a second attack, it must have been spikes. Didn't think about that.

Did the Sand Sweeper that just died use Meltdown within AoE range of you? Might've filtered it out and been killed by a subsequent melee attack.

No, don't have that filtered on any of my chars and it wasn't in any of the logs.

Also I could see the Sand Sweeper, he melee killed it.

It's possible. I didnt think she could steal counterstance though, she hit me several times with it up and never took it off.

Would that cause me to die without seeing any damage though?

Assuming it's like Glavoid, if they absorb Counterstance/Retaliation it will show you dying in log without any damage being done when they perform it back on you. I've yet to figure out if it instantly kills you when they counter or retaliate or if it has to be damage greater than your HP, but I've seen tanks from 2.5k+ HP instantly from Glav when he does it.
