I've always had the squares for heat breath thing - you mean the graphic isn't MEANT to be like that?!

I also get the squares thing when gravity is cast for some reason.

Had the disembodied heads bug someone posted before happen in Whitegate recently too - sooooo funny to see in action when all you can see are heads and the occasional pair of legs (without owner).

Had this happen to me as well. I hit a lag spike, ran up a wall, then fell down below sea. Plus, while I was under sea, I dropped to the lower level, even further down. Had to voke a zxomit from the surface, die, and get tractored back up.

Thats what I was afraid was going to happen so I made sure to stay on that little plateau.
