Price of Coral Fragment has shot way up in my server, so I tried to fish them. I had overwhelming fishing mogchantment, and fished about 1,5-2hr in SSG and I didn't get any Coral Fragment.

Did SE removed Coral Fragment from fishing or something?

i tried fishing those once. in an hour i got 2 bites and both broke my line (dont think i was using a lushang at the time).

i for one dont care if the gs fish these up. =\

They can be dug up quite frequentl in western altepa i think (uncommon) as well. much easier if you get your digging to like 3 or 4

soon as LoO corals got nerfed this place has been constantly dug up on most servers. not sure but i think rmt are behind it, unless somehow they are fishing up 6 stacks a day in koralokola..

250k/stack Midgard and unbearably low supply. The previous #1 seller is gone (presumably banned fishbot). They used to be 70k and well-stocked. Today there was a spike with someone selling several stacks but could just be a 'stash' rather than new fishbot. Too soon to tell.

Not only did they ban fishbots, but there was also announcement of nerfing item fishing in that last update.

When I dig in Altepa I get maybe 2-5 out of dozen stacks of greens. It's 'ok' given my desperation to get my hands on fragments, but damnit - bring back my fishbots so I can just grab all I want from the AH! Normal players are too lazy to fish them (raises hand).

Coral Fragments were never "easy" to fish up, you would maybe get 1-2 every 30min if you had max water elemental. The only place where you can randomly fish up fragments are in SSG, but most ppl dont fish anymore since its not very profitable.

Another sourse of Coral Fragments are the NM's in SSG.

There were no Coral Fragments at all on Phoenix AH for a long time so price skyrocketing to 400k and now there's a lot mostly from the same person (http://www.ffxiah.com/player.php?id=858046&sid=5).
Guess new coral fishbotters are already here till the next ban.

And hmm... SSG only or you can fish it in Labyrynth of Onzozo too?

I went to farm them on BST past the Sahagin door. About 2 or 3 hours worth of killing Sahagins, Eyes, Bats.

About 100k worth of Bard Songs, lots of gil from the bard NM, 0 coral fragments. 0 Blood from bats. Drop rate is abysmal.

It was a VERY long time ago, but I remember spending 2 weeks+ behind the gold beastcoin door trying to get a couple of rare/ex items for bard. Most of the time was spent with 2 JP thfs.

In 2 weeks I think I got 1 or 2 coral fragments.

They're fairly abundant in the den of rancor if you fish where those zebra eels come from. I got 6 in an hour once doing GP.

That would make sense SE moved them there, it seems to be one of the hardest spots to fish and goes along with the Goblin Merc theme (essentially putting level caps on fishing).
