It's like calling fishbots outlaws, which they are.
Subtle and to the point at the same time.

'Fishbot Killers' breaks the 4th wall and is painfully obvious.

Keep Pace
Have the jockey maintain a consistent pace throughout the whole race.

Final Spurt
Have the jockey save the chocobo's energy until the end of the race.

Sprint
Have the jockey push the chocobo to its limits from the get-go.

yay rock paper scissors. ok there are items too, but it basically looks like you make a couple menu selections then watch and hope. I think the gambling game is more interactive.

Doesn't seem Rock-Paper-Scissorish to me. It's not as if Keep Pace > Sprint > Final Spurt > Keep Pace. It sounds more like its dependent on track. e.g. short track = sprint, long track = keep pace, medium track = final spurt. Could also make a difference in when your items are used, so if you plan on using stat-boosting items, you'd use sprint, and if you plan on using items to stop other chocobos, you might final spurt to take out whoever still happens to be keeping up with you by the end of the race.

Following server up, one of my linkshell mates wandered out to valkurm dunes to take a look at the bounty hunter. Even though she was L75 and she was Too Weak, it aggro'd, like detectors do. It died in 4 hits from Joyeuse. No idea yet about its repop timer.

This one's too weak and not raging These need to rage or a 75 WHM can hold this forever with auto-regen, while the afk fishbotters can go back to playing ping pong.
