After my physical bird got Strength=First-Class & Endurance=First-Class, I switched to the "Digging for Treasure" plan because I'm trying to get Discernment to Average so I can teach the bird abilities before my stats get locked. 1st day digging plan took effect was on day 49 iirc.

It went something like this:

1st day the digging plan was in effect:
  • * Received message that chocobo was sick
    * Affection was level 7
    * Took her on a long walk or something
    * Fed her an Azouph greens & a Zegham carrot
    * Gave her Tokopeko wildgrass
    * Gave her Chocolixir for no good reason (this made her be full the next day?)
    * Used the 80 Chocobucks care plan to raise Discernment
    * Endurance: First-Class
    * Discernment: Poor


2nd day of digging plan:
  • * Received message that chocobo was bored and restless
    * Affection was level 7, don't remember if I recapped it
    * Made her compete against another chocobo
    * Couldn't feed her anything as she was still full
    * Endurance: Outstanding
    * Discernment: Poor


3rd day of digging plan:
  • * Normal status
    * Affection level 6. Through long walk and spamming look at chocobo the rest of the energy bar, took back affection to level 8 (greens also helped obviously)
    * Fed her an Azouph greens & a Zegham carrot
    * Checked stats: Endurance=Outstanding, Discernment=Poor

    * Used the 80 Chocobucks care plan to raise Discernment
    * Checked stats again: Endurance=Outstanding, Discernment=Substandard


I hope the information is helpful. Spamming free runs is boring, but it helps me I'm AFK 95% of the time doing chores and I just come back to the computer to hit enter a couple of times and start a new race lol. I'm trying to meet a quota of getting 80 Chocobucks every 2 RL days to keep using the intense training program, as I don't think my bird would hit average discernment by day 63 on normal care plans alone.

Background info on my bird that nobody cares about: her name is GallantBlade. :D She is a blue, female chocobo with a patient personality that likes clear days.
