I have read the AV posts, almost all of them and out of the 30+ pages that arise between the 15 pages of "IBTL" and "lolsash" and "lolav" posts, that seem to flood them like a plague, there is little hard data like i said before. By hard data i mean :

Player XXX : Equipped Temperance Torque
Player XXX : Equipped Temperance Axe
Player XXX : Item equipped the entire fight yes/no
Player YYY : Equipped Fortitude Torque
PLayer YYY: No Virtue Weapon Equipped

Then to have as many of the same torque equipped at the same time as possible for as long as possible. Usually this only last about 45secs to a min before AV starts spamming Aeroga and pulverizing the tanks.

Here's my plan for AV. I don't expect it to work, I think the mob is broken. But maybe it will do *something*.

Initial hold party:
PLD/NIN x3
RDM/BLU (healing breeze spam)
WHM/BLM

More then likely use the footprint to keep tanks alive. Get initial hate, lots of it. Flash, Sent, Rampart all the goodies. Make AV unclaimed (disengage I guess?).

Damage alliance:
SMN x5
BRD

SMN x5
BRD

SAM/THF x2
THF/SAM x2
BRD
RDM (bio whore)

Evis > Gekko > Darkness

Astral Flow, Diablos, Ruinous Omen

It's a percentage based attack, who knows if it will work. But it won't get owned by Invincible, avatars will have hate, and tanks can rejoin after initial burst to flash and hopefully get hate back. Assuming you do not get ass raped by aoe, that would be a minimum 30 Ruinous Omens. They would have to do 3.3% each to kill. I don't expect it to kill, I think it will do a sizeable chunk, enough for some kraken darks to finish the job.

So anyone actually used Ruinous Omen more than once?

Since this thread is derailed, last night Taj I had a dream that I was hanging out with you in real life and we were playing ffxi and then we both got sent to jail by a GM except then the GM appeared behind us in real life and banned our accounts permanently so we beat up the GM in real life.
