I'm buying C&C3 after work today, how "playable" will it be with 512MB of RAM? I more than meet the other reqs, and then some, but I only have 512MB of RAM, which is the recommended amount :\

Could someone post pics of C&C3 gameplay for me. Interested in what it looks like and I'd like to see some real-time pics. Oh btw anyone remember that online mini-game for the original C&C. I think you drove around in a vehicle and tried to find upgrades and kill the other player's vehicles.

I looked on the back of the C&C 3 box and sawyer is in it so now I wanna buy it because he's a badass.

Yeah. I bought it after work yesterday and played the GDI campaign for a few hours before I had to go out. I bought a gig of ram to upgrade my laptop to play it, so after installing the ram my gaming laptop specs were:
3.0Ghz P4 w/HT
1.25GB PC3200 DDR2 at 400Mhz
ATI Radeon 9700 mobility

And whether or not I "can" run the game with better graphics, I used the default, recommended visual settings, which was pretty much everything on low (there is a very low for a few settings).

The game ran without any lag whatsoever, in every situation I have seen in-game. So I am sure that you would, at the very least, be able to run it perfectly with low graphical settings.


And this game kicks ass by the way. People can say "oh blah blah blah, it's too much like the older C&C games, I wanted something totally new," but, the style worked then and it works now Great game.
