I really don't understand what turn on people get by keeping things secret. Don't they realize that someone else will figure it out sooner or later anyway? Are you DENSE. This is a potentially game changing secret. Giving us an ex version of an item we already have access to.. that works the same way EVERY 8TH LEVEL.

We like to get a good 20-30 merits uninterrupted before the pups roll in w/ their 5k an hour parties attempting to skillchain with a pld/war tanking and a blm constantly resting his mp that never gets used anyway, where the only accomplishment is being just good enough to stop us from getting chain infinity and ruining our xp, while in reality they'd be better off in besieged anyway because at least when they die their horribly gimp deaths there they don't lose any xp.

If that type of party can't kill fast enough to be claiming mamools as they pop, they should probably go ahead and drop their ridills. Every time I've taken a LS party there, it was too easy to kill things fast enough that every one of them is claimed as soon as they repop. Any party that comes up sees this and leaves, noobs showing up really shouldn't be an issue unless they're there to begin with.

Heylol Any burn party including a smart PUP will get 12k -15k an hour (my last party reached that level but its been a while since I've meritted on PUP) on G. Colibris there. Like everywhere else, a competent player can build a good, solid TP burn party with the any well-geared job (heck, even a PLD will do if geared for meleeing). I do agree the Mamools though should be best saved for the truly uber parties but you'll always have those idiot leaders who don't care about those ridill WAR parties and think they can outpull...

I don't recall mods deleting posts to keep the camp a secret, but I do remember some people trying to say how much it sucks and that you couldn't pull anything without linking and can't sleep them without getting slept back, etc. and doing everything they could to make people think its a horrible, dreadful camp that gets 5k an hour.

best party I had in terms of exp/hour was at colibri camp: pld/nin(gimp) thf/nin(mandau) thf/nin(well geared, but no homam) whm/blm rdm/whm and brd/nin

we earned 20k an hour, now if PUP is a DD, then come on wtf, how can a PLD/NIN who was GIMPLY equiped get a party that can make more then a "DD pup"?

(even weirder, the THF with mandau used Mercy stroke once in the whole 2 hour session where it completely outdid his Dancing Edges, but then went back to doing dancing edge the rest of the party)

Noobs on our server are really stubborn.

And yes, we claim mobs as soon as they repop, but after 20mins of winning every pull, the noobs usually start getting luck and win maybe one or two pulls, which really fucks up your chain and exp.

Pros: Low HP, low DEF, low EVA, easy to land spells on, no dangerous TP moves, non-aggro, short repop times, and plenty of them.

Cons: Link (but easily slept, and no risk of links once you are claiming on pop), Feather Tickle (Deal with it), steal food (Get a better tank, use cheaper food, or gear appropriately for a no-food PT), Relfect (don't use AOEs and /NIN, yes, even the RDM or BRD should /NIN)

They were good even with the Bugards in the zone. Now they are even better since their is no aggro while pulling them.
