It's the same movie though... the two different "secret" endings don't take place at different times... it's the exact same movie, they only extended it further.

At the end of the original, you see the old guy walking towards them. In the second, it STARTS wit hthe old guy walking towards them again, only this time they show the entire fight.

Mickey was there during the whole thing IMO.

I always thought it was wierd that mickey specifically has that other keyblade at the end of the secret movie.

I mean, didn't we find out that he searched for and found the dark keyblade?
Maybe it was at that fight that he found it.

I think, for whatever reason, perhaps those knights are connected to those particular keyblades, and that, at this fight, something happened to disconnect them from those keyblades so they might find other owners.

All conjecture though.

They just don't want anyone else to have it... it has nothing to with money, SE JP has already been greedy like that though.

Same thing could be said for Sony really... they refuse to release any new stuff overseas unless they have to... look how many different PS2 colors they have in Japan.

I just finished fighting Riku Replica (I decided to go back to the save point with him and try to pull of Dark Aura against him after talking to a friend about it..)... I pulled it off, so it's a pretty sweet fight. Uploading this one right now, will link once its up.

The translation of what is going on while Xemnas is walking down the spiral is the exact same as when Mickey Flashbacks to when he first met Xehanort

The armor laying in Xehanort's Room of Sleep resembles the blue haired girl's (from KH2:FM Secret Ending) armor.

I finally understand why it makes sense and actually has significance that Mickey is holding the Star Seeker...

This keyblade is obtained from Yensid, who just happened to be Mickey's trainer and tutor. Makes sense to me... I would assume this a scene taking place in the past if that's the case (especially if that brown haired guy turns out to be young Xehanort), because it would mean that Mickey had JUST finished training for Yensid, and this is the keyblade he was given.

Also if I rembmer correctly, there's a scene in one of the two games where Leon tells Sora how their world was ruined 9 years ago by maleficent and the heartless... and in ansem's reports, it is said how mickey had arrived with the keyblade to help just at around that time.

If everything else falls into place, this battle scene with the old dude and the knights (Aqua, Ven, and what now seems to be young Xehanort) takes place about 9 years ago, just around the time Mickey had first received the keyblade, and just BEFORE Mickey went to help Ansem in Radiant Garden/Hollow Bastion (because remember... Xehanort was there and already working for Ansem by the time Mickey visited... there were several cutscenes in KH2 to prove that.)

Either way, the next installment is either a connector between KH2 and 3, or just a random prequel to try and explain more about Mickey/the keyblade/Xehanort's hidden backgrounds. Regardless of which one it will end up being, I can't wait.

I havent looked into it, but if the secret movie is the past, why can you fight one of the knights in FM?

It seems a dark portal opens up near the Cornerstone of Light after you complete the first set of Organization rematches and then game. That portal takes you to the knight.

I don't think it's truly story related, it could just be a memory of what happened in the past.

Wow. That was an awesome theory. Totally thought out and everything. I'm curious though. How do you know the names of the two smaller soldiers? Has it been said somewhere or is that what we will be calling them for a couple years?

the Roxas look-a-like, the female solder and what was Mickey doing there with the Star Seeker (as opposed to his normal Keyblade)?

Quotes from the start of the Armored Soldier's Boss fight:

"Aqua... Ven... Keyblade... who are you? I can feel it... we have met before... it was when... No... it isn't you... It isn't you that I have chosen... Why is it not him... Xe... ha... nort... is that you? Xeha... nort... Xehanort!"

This is how Akiyama... he actually says their names before you fight him.
