Here is my guess...

The guy we see at the end, with the brown hair and eyes that turn orange, is Xehanort. Therefore, the next installment will be a prequel, or will at least have prequel flashbacks.

The old guy is someone who took over Xehanort's body, hence turning his hair silver, and thus giving him all those superpowers that are mentioned in the Ansem Reports.

The guy the old dude splits into might just very well be some other type of "puppet-like" person, that is being controlled by the bald man (kind of how Ansem controlled Riku, giving him the awesome duds.)

This theory makes a lot of sense, and I wouldn't be surprised if the above picture is the exact correct theory. All the clues match, even down to the fact that the eye that Riku has on his Souleater is also present on both the old man's keyblade and that of his "assistant".

Yeah, those are really awesome theories. Also leads me to wonder who the other two smaller soldiers were. (The blue haired guy and the Roxas-like frozen guy. Poor dude. x.x)

the Roxas look-a-like, the female solder and what was Mickey doing there with the Star Seeker (as opposed to his normal Keyblade)?

Quotes from the start of the Armored Solders Boss fight:

EDIT: As to the "we have met before"... maybe he means the blonde soldier (Roxas?) and that's why he mistook Sora for him? Cus mistaking Sora for Xehanort seems kind of weird.

That's a good theory. I came up with a bit of my own.

I thought the brown-haired guy looked like a much, much older Sora, especially in the way he moved and held his Keyblade, like just before he charges at the old guy, he carries the Keyblade in both hands on his right side at an upwards angle... the same way Sora holds his in KH2 when enemies appear.

Also pretty sure that the guy that got iced (lol made a funny) was Roxas. Blonde hair, blue eyes, even the same exact haircut. Only thing that seemed "wrong" about the entire thing was that it didn't seemed that he had aged. But then again, Xemnas (the nobody of Xehanort) didn't age over time either, so maybe Nobodies just don't age from the time they are "born".

Blue-haired person... Not sure who that could be. Maybe a younger, less-experienced Keyblade weilder that Sora or Roxas took under their wing? Not even sure if it was male or female either. They seemed to care a lot about the Roxas lookalike.

Old guy and his assistant are definitely agents of darkness, but it looks like they have Kingdom Hearts already under their control. Same costumes as Xehanort's Heartless and Riku's Dark Form (updated a bit, of course).

As for the end, the brown-haired guy's eyes start off as blue (Sora is brown hair, blue-eyed). They turn to yellow. Maybe Sora taking a page out of Riku's book by using the power of both light and darkness?

Yeah it is that solder, its what he says to Sora and Co. after they enter the dark thing in Disney Castle. The events of the bonus video are supposed to be in the past or the future (Nomura you jerk). If its the past, then Roxas, by our current knowledge wouldn't "exist" yet. Yet he looks exactly like Roxas, so if it is, then the events are yet to come *head esplode*

yeah, this is getting freaky. When I first saw the fight against the soldier, I actually thought it was the Evil Old bastard's clone that he made. >.>

Maybe the video just wasn't clear enough. The possibility that the blonde haired soldier (Aka Roxas look-a-like)
could actually be the real Roxas.. and the one we know is his nobody because maybe the real one died? I dunno.

It is getting all too confusing. =(

The theory with the brown haired guy being Xehanort makes a lot of sense... the haircut is exactly identical to that of Xemnas, except it's shorter. And if this old guy actually did take over the brown haired guy's body, then it would make sense as to why his hair changed colors (or well, it would be an acceptable answer).

Man I can't wait for the next installment lol. (Nomura DID say it will not be called KH3 though, so my guess is that it will be another CoM and will then serve as the link between 2 and 3.)

EDIT: OR, they could just be a random Xehanort flashback from the next installment... remember, Deep Dive ended up being a flashback as well, so who knows.

I dunno. Sora definitely believes in the power of the light, but look at the sacrifice Riku made to attain enough power to help save Sora by defeating Roxas.

Do you honestly believe that if Sora had to take a similar chance to save someone he cared about, he wouldn't take it? This kind of thing would really develop Sora as a character.

I thought it could've been a Roxas incarnate? The blue hair girl looks like a newcomer, so she doesn't matter much, but the way she cared for "roxas" somehow reminded me of naminé. also she looks somewhat similar minus the hair colour.

the only real mystery of the vid is roxas, if it is indeed him and it quite possibly isn't (if it was there are way to many plotholes that need filling) then who is it and why are they there? Also, it appeared that "roxas" died during that fight, and the reason mickey didn't have his kingdom key could've been that it was part of the graveyard of keyblades the chasers found in the original movie. something tells me that both movies are set in different times, one in the past and one in the future.

I would say Sora is somewhat simply minded in that respect, sure it would develop his character but I doubt he'd do that.

In that case, that video had to take place in the future because the 3 keyblades (sora/riku/mickey) are definitely in the graveyard.

However, in the first version of Birth By Sleep, you saw the 3 knights each pick up one of the swords. In the new one, they don't seem to be using them, even though it DOES seem to be the same movie (at the end of the initial video you see the old guy walking towards them, which they then continued on the new Birth By Sleep.)

EDIT: BTW, Riku vs Riku Replica fight coming up in a bit, compressing it ATM.

Perhaps, but obviously Mickey is THERE during all of this, I would only assume that the keyblade he always had is the same keyblade he's had from the moment it chose him.

I know, I was saying in the first movie, where mickey doesn't appear it is quite possible the keyblades didn't have the same owners they had during KH. Also as for Mickey, it's possible the keyblade isn't be used by him anymore (like how sora got his keyblade taken away by him by riku).

The translation of what is going on while Xemnas is walking down the spiral is the exact same as when Mickey Flashbacks to when he first met Xehanort

Zexion: It seems you really enjoy eavesdropping.
Xigbar: I couldn't hear what they were actually saying. And so I feel preoccupied. You're interested too, right?
Zexion: I simply want to concentrate on my assignment. You too should concentrate on your real mission and collect more members. We must hurry with the preperations for our new quarters... 11 Organization members is not enough.
Xigbar: Our new quarters... oh, Castle Oblivion, right? What does Xemnas hope to achieve by using that?
Zexion: We've been told that-
Xigbar: There's a reason, one that hasn't been told to anyone. With the "Room of Sleep" comes the "Room of Awakening", the other place. That is what he is seeking; that room, which was not made by Xemnas. Perhaps that is where the other... "friend" is.
