Valkurm has been dead to me for years ... hi2u Shakrami & Korroloka.

Except the only reason those zones work is cause they're more or less empty, as opposed to the 2374893243 people who cram into the dunes. Now if they all go to Shakrami and Korro, then they won't really be a good place to lvl anymore.

Korroloka has been croweded on Garuda for quite a while. I solo all my jobs to at least 15. I have never leveled in the Dunes. I got both my THF WAR and NIN from 10-20 via Dhalmel parties in Tahrongi, the Maze, Buburimu Peninsula, and Korroloka. I even got my sub job items in Buburimu back in the day.

Yeah, I was raised on the windy side as well, so many people there, the maze was always crowded, but xp was always good. I miss those days.. The first time I leveled in valk was prob a year after NA release.. worst zone ever.

My alliance managed to have a couple of 19s and 20s who still needed their Bloody Robe, same result though, out of my noob alliance only 5 of us managed to get the robes, the others "heard" from friends about how much easier it was to ride the boat and get the items on the Dunes (shortly after that, was when I started having a hard time getting my friends to exp in Windy side, since they thought the dunes were the best, lol)

i got my SJ im Mhuara... we had a pt of 6, and 1 was a pld 19.. he was our saving grace lol... we killed like 1 ghost and i won lot on the robe --- this was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day... at that time i was too scared to leave on the boat cause i didnt wanna go too far from windurst.. so i ended up refusing alot of pt invites to the dunes lol >.>a

If you have high level help Bogy drop rate is way better than ghouls...problem is if your a noob as was said Bogy > alliance of 15 slol

They should remove the one at the ice pond in quifm thats a really bad place to put one. Just make the pond contain no fish or something.

Or they could just make the Goblin bounty hunters aggro only people who are fishing.

Were there alot of RMT fishbots in valkrum on other servers? I don't think I've seen any, atleast anytime recently.

I don't think they can aggro you when in a "BC" fight

I don't think coast parties in Valurm are dead, you just have to be careful. As someone pointed out earlier, the goblins have an extremely limited aggro range, so just go inland about 10 feet and you're fine.

I've never seen any fishbotters in valk, but I'm sure they could move them all into the ocean on PS2 with the ocean glitch then just log back on them with PC. Noone would ever find them lol.

Funny thing is, Windurst players can do the Selbina subjob quest easier than the other nations.

Take a PT into the tower north of Giddeus, go through the cracked wall. It's bats -> Gobbies -> more bats -> room FULL of Ghouls. They drop the skull, and you can literally beat the things up all day.

I for one fucking hate these Bounty Hunters.. At least at the moment.. They raped me like 900 times while soloing worms in Qufim. They aggro from quite a distance too and fucking own. Were like 2-3 shotting me as a 23-25 SAM.

I watched them take down a party fighting worms in a few seconds.. Was hilarious but at the same time I am sure they thought it was equally hilarious watching me get raped by it time after time. So after a while, I just started holding it on my PL while I fought. Problem with that was.. once it came white.. Passerbys thought I was in trouble and killed it.

Then it would pop again.. and back to the rapage.

I like aurik's suggestion of making them aggro to /fish, but I wish they replace the goblin bounty hunters, with lvl75 Chigoe. That way you can't pre target them, you can't have anyone moving them about and holding them, and chigoe enjoy multi hits, so they'd hit 5-8 times and well, destroy the RMT on the first time.

Otherwise gilsellers are just moving into blind spots, and it's ruining peoples classic xp spots. All it's doing now is ensuring people get a PL
