They arn't just rehashing a city though.

Liberty City in GTA3 was a simulation of just a few boroughs and didn't do NYC any justice at all.. rehashing kind of implies that it is old material that is reworked. Liberty City in GTA3 will be nothing like Liberty City in GTA4.

lol, my roomate has a theory that Rockstar could try and get a bunch of publicity with this game by having the main character an Iraqi native. Since its liberty city/New York they could have him fly a plane into the 'dual towers' as his final mission.

Rehashing LBC/NYC is fine with me..San Adreas while awesome, was wayyyy too big. It'll be nice to see how accurately they represent everything in the city.
