Strangest EXP PT Location that worked!

used to exp behind the door to the limit break area not too bad from what i rember but it wasn't great

I remember that was a very common spot to exp... ;o... anyway, yeah MNKs or PLDs, I forget which, would kick your ass.

I remember XPing there a couple times, forget which job I was on though.

Zone to Ifrit's Cauldron on Goblins. Probably not the most AMAZINGLY RARE exp spot, but it was my first time exping there. >_>

Attohwa Chasm in the early 60s over by Alastor was pretty good. Did that not too long after CoP on my rdm in a pickup JP pt. Was quite interesting fighting antlions for the first time.

That fomor camp is gold. But, after seeing the Bhoot spawn once, we just sat on the fomor spawn and pulled them and Toads.

Of course, getting 3 fomor at once that don't want to sleep can be pretty interesting at 70. Lots of rdm and brd kiting and hoping the melee don't die.

A Dark Elemental also spawns where the Bhoot does <.< Just gotta avoid that corner

There is easier camp in that place. You can camp on the grass patch with a rdm fomor repop near Arrapago, and you can camp on a small elevation close to the grass patch leading to alzadal.

Fomor add arent really a problem unless your party consist of 4 drg or something

Eldieme Necropolis from 33-37 on the Gazers. Pull a bomb if the pt has a way to stun (someone holding TP).

That camp is so good compared to Shitadel. Especially back when the bat trains wouldn't despawn and you had to worry about them coming back and linking.

About a year or so ago my social LS put together a static who's goals were to level in the craziest places you could find. A short list, if I remember correctly, was...

By the zone, on bats, in Behemoth's Dominion (early 30s)
By the zone to SSG in Yuhtunga (pretty common, really) (late 30s), on sahagins
Toraimarai Canal, waterway by FMF, 40-44, on crabs and fish
One of the underground caves south of the zone to ifrits, mid 40s, on goblins
Toraimarai Canal, waterway between the 2 maps, 48-52, on fish

We were gonna try a party in Zvahl Keep. Found a great camp for quadavs. Problem was getting there with a party of mid 40s was... a bit tough.

We also were gonna try another camp in the canal for mid 50s, but the static broke before we could go there.

I think I was around 36-39, in Yhoator Jungle, by zone to Den of Rancor near the NIN AF ???, off Gobs. Very nice exp, and occasional chain 6, thanks to Gob's pet bees.

Spiders in Western Altepa Desert, near Easter Altepa Desert zone (closest to Rabao), around 32ish.

Dragon's Aery, 66-69 manaburn. Very nice spot. Spiders and flies, I believe (been a long time).

Necropolis with SAM tank in 40's. It worked.

For like 30 minutes until everyone got sick of it.

67-70 Dvucca Isle Fomors

Was fun with a Ninja Tank >_> got like 13k/hr every now and then we got Zikko or a Bhoot or something that ended the party, but it's fairly simple to avoid them. At least it was always empty but TP Reset was annoying <.<

great camp, i exp'd there till 72 enjoyed it alot

and lol at Zikko, quite a few times someone would always run through the swamp otw to camp and get killed by him

demons inside the keep at around lvl 60 PT. Hard to keep chains alive since you have to move from port to port to get to different spawn areas.
