I might be just saying this because I'm mildly inebriated at the moment, but if she's going to pull that shit now, she's going to pull that shit later. People never change.

Rewind me 7 years, I ask a girl out that I had been dating for a while and we get along great have so much fun together, I ask her to be my girlfriend, she says "no" because she wants to keep her options open or whatever the shit that means. Later she feels bad about it and asks me out and on we go, great relationship that lasts years.

Fast forward 5 years, she goes to study abroad for 4 months and I hated the idea. She has her 21st birthday in Sweden and decides partying and being single because she's young or whatever is more important. We break up, I am crushed, she comes back we get back together because she regretted everything, great relationship resumes.

Fast forward 2 more years to current. She graduates fashion school and decides she doesn't know what she wants anymore and needs to "take a break" from us because she had been getting frustrated with our problems that we never discussed because we had been living 300 miles apart, and I am crushed yet again.

People never change. As much as they like to say they do or claim they have, they really... don't.

Sounds just like my failed 6 year relationship. All is well until she goes abroad realizes what else is out there, comes back an independent woman. Claims it has nothing to do with me, blah blah, now she is dating someone else. What a waste of 6 years and probably at least $7,000.
