heated BLM discussion about 1 shotting Maat

Over on alla, the blm forums , we're talking about whether its possible to one shot the old man now at uncapped 75. A lot of BG just doesnt read alla, which is fine, but i wanted to put the word here because if anyone can do it, someone from BG probably can. Is it possible?

no screen shot but 1297 dmg freeze II. Maat has 1500 hp on blm version.

given what damage I did, and what I know i can add, it is definately possible but I would need to add the following to be sure:
novio earring - adds 7mab, lose 2int
hq demons helm - adds 1int
yigit crackows (18,000/20,000) /sigh - adds 2mab, no change in int
spirit lantern 0/7 totally gay - adds 10mab lose 2int? >.> do you have to keep it on to get the mab, as you can see i dont have it so i dont know
possibly even hq weskit and hq zenith hands adds 2mab
-- with the above additions would add 21mab but lose 1 int
21 mab, hmmm im no rocket scientist, but that would HAVE to add 203 dmg.

I demand a SS if anyone accomplishes this

Edit: I just anaylyzed Darcavatrs pic. he did 1367. only real gear change was he had spirit lantern and I did not, hes not taru, hes not fully inted out. So if we assume the 10mab would add lets say... 90. that would put me at 1387. novio would be 70, thats 1457, maybe 4 for hq helmet, 1461, yigit feet maybe 25, 1486... hq zenith and weskit would be another 25, 1511.

grr... my numbers might be off a bit, but i think you DO have to have all of this sh*t. damn, ok, now to find a taru with hq zenith, hqweskit, and all the rest of the aforementioned gear.

And yes you have to keep lanturn on. If you take it off the enchantment goes away.

I'll see if I can convince Kaeko to try it. He's got HQ zenith crown/mitts, Sorc Ring, etc, and is selling his Genie Weskit because Morrigan is giving him much better damage. He'd probably go Thunder as well, since he went 8 Thunder Potency merits (as he puts it, may as well be most efficient, he casts Thunder more than anything).

No Novio so there are probably a good 50+ BLMs on BG who would outdamage me by a good 50-60 damage. Also no INT merits, and no Spirit Lanturn (10MAB).

Freeze2 is the best spell for single highest damage # due to the +5 INT on aquilos, not Burst2. I didn't even know you could fight Maat at lvl75... also I don't see why it matters o.o

edit: and remember, hes got the mdef. of a 70 blm, so thats why were only nuking for approx 1300-1400 in our max damage setups.

How do you have 75 BLM and not know that?

Because I'm a really lazy meriter, and I haven't finished mine (5 thunder 4 ice), and I haven't ever actually looked to see what the max is on any one in that category. /shrug

I have 5 jobs I'm meriting for and I'm only just now finishing up BLM, I had WHM to take care of first with Barspells and such. And I just am absentminded sometimes and don't think about like 'oh it was five max on any one in WHM specific too, blah blah.' If I haven't ever stopped to think about it before, then it may as well just be an "i don't know" for me.
