    SIM blocked?

So I was at work and one of the guys I work with wanted a ringtone of mine, so I thought I would Bluetooth it over. In order to connect to his phone, I had to enter a SIM PIN, and I had no clue what it was. I don't remember ever setting one, so I tried some generic things like 1234, 1111, 0000, the last four digits of my phone number, etc, and none of them worked. Anywyas, after I put one of them in, it said "PIN invalid. SIM blocked.", and now my phone is a useless piece of trash unless I need to call 911 (which is the only thing it allows me to do).

I called my service provider and they basically Sundi'd in my face, and Motorola isn't open on weekends. Any clue what to do? I *need* my phone for everyday life, so if someone can shed some light, that'd be hot.

I'm in Canada, and we don't have SSNs, but SINs. The format of a SIN is XXX-XXX-XXX, and therefore I can't put in the last four digits. =(

So, basically you have to call your provider and ask for the PUK. If you have tried to enter it in more than 10 times, you need a new sim card (joy joy joy!)

Got it a long time ago. I had to phone my phone company and sweet talk them into giving me a code. Don't know what kind of code it was but it worked.

Because the format of "last four digits" wouldn't be correct and therefore wouldn't be applicable? It ended up being a 6 or 8 digit number anyways (I forget which).

What wouldn't be correct about it? The last four digits of 123-456-789 is 6789.

The correct thing to say for a XXX-XXX-XXX is "last three digits". If it was XXXXXXXXX, XXX-XXX-XXXX or XXXX-XXXX-XXXX then I could see that being the case.

This is a retarded conversation though, so whatever.
