Enitsu just applied to my LS. It's a great character, 7 level 75 jobs, 100+ Clothcraft, I'm sure that BG mods can attest to lots of great gear that character has, would probably be an outstanding addition to any LS. But he was rejected out of hand because it's a bought account.

Many linkshells have rules against these things, and so long as you are in one with bought accounts, you will give yourself a bad name by reputation. You may not participate in RMT or whatnot yourself, but it's guilt by association.

I'm confused.

Enitsu was bought by a Sist member for use in Sist - why would he choose to apply elsewhere? (Although Sist have also been known to deposit 'spies' in competitor LS's, so that could be the case)

Not all LS's reject bought characters, depending on reason's. If it's someone who deleted their 75WAR months back and wishes to rejoin the game, and buys a 75WAR to play again, then although a few eyebrows are raised, it's a little more understandable.

However, buying an account with jobs you have no experience on - that's where bought accounts become instant reject material. You find yourself with a lvl 56WHM (example) who's now got a 75 SMN/NIN/PLD etc and doesn't have the first clue about what equips are for what job and knowledge other than random abilities, like provoke lol.

I'm not in any way condoning bought accounts, but if a single person buys a single account for very valid reasons, then a LS shouldn't instantly reject.
