7900GTX drivers

anyone know the best driver to use with 7900GTX for FFXI? even with no shadows and frame rate turned down i get <10 fps at big camps or whitegate AH.

o.O well radeon are ATI video cards but you said 7900GTX? Which is an Nvidia video card... So im guessing you meant an Nvidia 7900GTX. I personally have a 7900GTO which isn't very different from what you have.

And be sure to uninstall your current ones, I use a program called DriverCleaner for even more cleanliness.

edit: I forgot that you mentioned whitegate and popular NM camps... I believe that is just lag from all the other characters in the area. It is normal to everyone. And remember that the FPS cap at 30 in FFXI.

oh yea sry lol, not sure why i said radeon there, that's my other comp. yea its a nvidia of course.

yea my fps goes down to like 4-10 at those camps, no where near the cap. but the rest of the computer is top-of-the-line so im wondering if i can improve my frame rate at large camps.
