Has anyone ever developed any new information on the ENM that drops this? Basically, has anyone seen this drop to them and if so, what conditions did you fight under? (solo-18)

Just saw one in a bazaar tonight and it got me thinking. The last thread was in Feb. A little too long for me to necrobump. Does any server see these on a quasi regular basis and have set prices? I sent the guy a tell and Im prepared to pay 5m tops for this item. 2-3m for its quasi-useful macro/situational usefulness and +2-3m for its rarity.

i've only seen 1 on Odin, Netcool sold it to himself on AH. I sent him a tell and asked him about it and he explained to me in broken english. Said 18man ENM has higher chance of it dropping.

Since that last thread on this, I've been doing it almost every week duo, uninvited guests that is. Never even seen it offered yet, for the most part get locked into exp scrolls. Best thing ive gotten so far is mannequin hands :/

On our server there are 2 in the AH history (self sells) and a guy in Batilla has been trying to sell one for 25m for a few weeks now.

I swear every other person I check has the Uninvited Guests title so it seems mega rare to me based on how many people do the fight weekly.

Rumors I have heard say that the more people you have with you on Uninvited Guests, the better chance you have of actually getting shit. I think it's false and probably started because with 18 people you are probably going to get something worth a damn simply because of the higher volume of people getting the quest reward.

Myself, I have only ever gotten exp scrolls.

We've been doing this on a weekly basis as an LS for the last 2 months. The best run we had was an alliance of 14 people. It's pretty amusing seeing 7 mammets being raped by 14 people in less than 3 minutes.

In that time we've seen 2 Cloud Evokers, 1 Mannequin Body (thanks Kaelia!) and the rest have been junk.

Edit: Evoker #1 dropped when we had 6 people, and Evoker #2 in the 14 person run.

We've slowed down on the runs now, but I'm determined to get them up and running again.

Slightly off topic, 2 XP scrolls for those low level jobs is nothing to scoff at!! (Rivernewort quest + reward for the BC win)

I believe there are at least 4 of these on Ifrit. I've seen two in bazaars recently and I think there are also 2 on AH history (going from memory here). AH is 10-11 mil, but they sold awhile ago, pre-deflation. The bazaar price I recall seeing was 85 mil, which seemed a little silly, but it was on a mule bazaar in Battalia so it didn't seem like an actual joke.

Awhile ago on Ifrit 4 sold on the AH for 10-11M.

I recently sold mine for 6M in Batallia.

No new info for the ENM that I have seen. Taking 18 people just ups the possibilty because you have 18 rewards.

We did a 14 man version of this and got no evokers, no hides, no breastplate....lots of mushroom risotto? >.> So the better drops rumor is BS lol then again we didnt have 18...

I thought it was pretty much common knowledge that it drops with an improved drop rate from an 18 person Uninvited Guests ENM. Still random and rare, but a better rate at least.

As in the % chance for each person goes up, or the % chance for any person goes up? Because if it's the second, then lol.

What sort of a setup do you use for this? Do you bring like...7 NIN or /NINs, or have some RDMs or BSTs kite them, or what? Sorry for the further derail.

To contribute somewhat to the original topic, I've done this quest (not ENM) many, many times and have never seen an evoker, breastplate, behemoth hide, or angel skin. I usually do it with 2 people; 5 is the most I've ever taken. I have seen about a dozen mannequin parts (including 3+ bodies, 2 of which went to me), lots of exp scrolls, and plenty of food and other crap.

Not to mention that once you initially clear Spice Gals, you can solo Secrets of Ovens Lost every week for yet another scroll. I duo these 3 quests plus CN escort every week, and I've "boosted" many jobs in the 20-37 range this way. I believe my duo partner got THF from 37 to 50 on those scrolls. Only problem is that you need to have another way of keeping any relevant skills capped. Only 2100-6000 exp per week, but it adds up. Hopefully we can start doing Fire In The Sky soon as well.

Better exp per hour spent than exping a low-level job with a bunch of LS members and someone 2-boxing a 75 WHM? No. Better than gearing up a low-level job, LFG for a while and getting a crappy party, or soloing it as /BST? Often.

A mixture of jobs really, off the top of my head I think we had loldrg (me

), 3 mnks, 2 sams, 2 nins, 1 pld, 2 blms, 3 rdms. All melee went /nin, if I recall correctly.

Each person pairs up, except the pld and 1 remaining person.

We had the pld run in aggro all 7, rampart+sentinel kite them all. While each pair picks one off and duos them.

I have one of these sitting in my mog house... and there it stays... always. A friend who bought it then left the game let me "Borrow" it. It's trash, I assure you. It MIGHT be ok for a resistance build, but only if you're desperate for that last +15. It's also ugly as fuck... (too lazy to make a SS, go pull it up in model viewer).
