Just saw a Thief with a D.ring...

To be fair, he was the leader of a major JP HNM LS for a while, pretty sure he was in farming gear.

people get tired some time of a job. my pld is retired too and my D.ring sits in mogsafe usually or gets outdusted when I go out on war and hit my "oh shit" macro. I just dont have any fun playing pld anymore, you could say wasted D.ring oh well.

I hate people who say this. Don't blame the system, he prolly busted his ass off to get this. Blame the player for not having better equips.

But a different system could have had the leaders say "no, we aren't giving one of the most prized pieces of equipment in the game to somebody who doesn't care about having good enough gear for it to make a difference"

If the leaders accepted someone with that gear into their LS, then I don't really trust their judgement anyway.
