Just from what I see his gear isnt bad. Hauberk, Tarasque mitts (hopefully +1), I see a manny, and some kind of GAxe. Just need to replace hte pants and eventually the gloves and boots.

in regards to the war he posted, it looks like its the guy's first 75, hes not even 75 yet (unless dlvl) and hasn't gotten a chance to do DM yet, but his gear is on the right track at least. no excuse for that pld. the whm is misguided but maybe is using pamamas for the +50 mp for free basically, and is that whm their only 75 too? at least hes using the right club / shield, if it was dsteel/acc buckler i'd say wtf but at least they are semi-on the right track c'mon

The whm is going with a cheap mp build, the only item I have to really question are the boots. Don't know if they are af1 or af2s, but blessed boots are better imo.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but I see NOTHING wrong with Snakebite's White mage. Templar Mace +10% Cure Potency? Opo-Opo Crown could just be, he forgot to get his other head gear?

I'm no tank, but I don't think -75 to fire resist is a good thing for a pld taking breaths from Fafnir.

Show me a Fafnir fight where he never uses breath regardless of where people are standing and I'll agree with you.

Aside from that, I listed that he was using both Hrotti and BQ Ring. Hrotti has -10% breath damage taken while BQ ring has -75 fire resist, two rather contradictory items. Using the two together is fair enough to be called a bit of a "confused" player.

You make it sound like he takes more damage because of the -75 Fire Resist. Unless he's using a Fire Resist build, I doubt he's going to be resisting many anyways.

no no, show me a fafnir where anyone resists breath. ffs BQR is fucking fine for every situation except a fire resist setup and if you saw a pld wearing a fire resist set tanking fafnir his gear would be in this thread too.

Alright, I'll concede that BQ ring isn't as bad as I was under the impression it was. I still think some of the rest of that guy's gear belongs in this thread though.
