117 from barfira +
50 from fire carol.

340 fire resistance.

and taking the fireballs from 24 or 29 to 18 or 24 is NOT worth lower my resistance and giving tiamat more of a chance to get a unresisted fireball through.

the only bad thing about your ss is that i forgot my hrotti that day.

i'm not trying to go with drama, just explaining that my gear set has a purpose and a good one at that.

as for menasu's gear in that ss i think menasu was in zone for something else and helped hold? or raced out there to hold notrly sure.

He's not PLD main, we just had him run out till clarity got there.

so.. you swap out -25% Magic Damage for +15 Fire Resist. I don't get it, unless there is some magical invisible tier at 340 Fire Resist that makes +15 Fire resist better then Aegis.

The the 2Pld in question are Kaminari, and Foruks in my LS, but when your a good tank it doesnt matter. I can tank in AF1, and NQ gear better than anyone in your LS, and also did Cerberus hit anyone besides Foruks, and Kaminari during that entire fight? Lol Nope Tanks never lost hate, and rarely took Dmg. Highlulu Lol Let me in NQ Gear without all my shit tank with Finale on there next Cerberus Ill guarantee that Ill tank the majority of the fight over you. Lol Its not about gear its how you play the job. Your tanks never cure anyone except themselves. Lol We cure everyone in the alliance even if they are missing 90HP. Use MP wisely, and your gear isnt a factor. Also on your last Cerb with all your people there with yalls Pld's Cerberus was running all over thats why you wiped was it not. Cerberus ran after a Whm, and out of your Nin/Drk Stun range? Lol

Reddwarf's gear is mostly ok. Just the Tamas makes me go "what the shit?". Maximus though...yeah. That's not a Fortitude Torque, either.

High might be in my ls so you could say this is biast but i really do believe he is one of the top 3 plds on our server if not the best. The Aegis to fire resist shield is probably arguable but when you are gettin hit for 20-40 dmg who cares it wont make much difference.

The funny part is, he does use macuahuitl instead of hrotti for fire resist
