Something about it being full time gear while /nin doesn't seem right to me though :D

This is why i'm glad our LS has only like...4 main WAR's, one of whom doesn't want a Ridill (Abaddon Killer/Bravura WAR). Between the other three one has an Adaberk, and the other two already have Ridill.

This is whilst fighting Cerberus. Both PLD/NIN, neither swapped gear once from 100% until they wiped at 16%. 3% Haste does soooooooooo much for Utsusemi recast. And that Bomb Queen Ring.... Firespit, anyone?

^Those aren't anything horrid. Not the best choices but not the worst gear ever.

If only I still played on PC and could SS gear..

Saw 2 JP PLDs tanking Cerb. Both wore Jelly Ring and BQR. One had Koenig Schuhs and Gold Moogle Belt... Don't remember the rest of the gear but it wasn't shocking when they wiped at 15% because they missed like 5 GoH, even with 10 stunners.

Also watched a PLD/war tanking Byakko. Had Bushi and Rajas on(as well as other shitty gear).... again, not shocking when he got owned.

i'll defend the BQR only... but going from 0 fire resist to -75 fire resist doesn't mean dick against hnm's, neither one gives you a good chance of resisting firespit. and just because your resistance is lower doesn't mean you take more damage... you were allready taking full damage from the attacks to begin with, lowering your resist isn't going to affect that.

I don't think the PLDs pictures were awful. A little meh, the BQ ring is worse than the warwolf belt, but honestly, neither are really bad choices. Not everyone has a Velo./Speed belt, plus the Swift Belt NM can be a surprisingly major dick about his droprate. -.- (Worst run my ls ever had was 2/10-ish, and for one of the people who didn't get it, it made him 0/17. I do believe he eventually finally went 1/21 or so.)

shadows down gear (shield skill) when ustu's up??? gear is situational, macro (you can have this), i personally put so much effort in my gear macros, ele builds, defense, shield skill, haste, enmity... and so on, theres so many! @_@ seeing ppl doing everything with 1 set of gear just makes me cry. but hey they can do w/e they want or keep being clueless! dont misinterpret this, im not talking tanking skill, but poor gear management! ciao, good day~

No kidding, that gear is pretty weaksauce. K.Deichlings make just no sense to me when you can at least get the Enmiy boost from Adaman Cuisses. Not macroing in gear swaps for different actions makes baby Prishe cry.

My LS has enough people that have WAR set as a priority that it would take years before most of them would say anything they wanted...

Ok thats not entirely true, but there are at least 10 people in my LS that set WAR as a priority, myself included.
