That gear is shit but seriously, AF2 is even worse so who cares if he doesn't wear it.

It's a gay shield, but I think someone mentioned something about JP paladins preferring it over Koenig. I've never seen it favoured on Fenrir, but idk, maybe it's different on other servers

i gotta suspect that some pieces of that are town gear. i can't see how askar feet could be better than af1 if a shield is being toted, yet he's wearing them. palmerin has a distinct look to it they might like. might be an interesting bit of math to examine it in more depth considering the new enmity gear out there, though i think that the results will maintain that the old standby is the best.

I would never use the Shield or the boots /war but they do have -21% Physical Damage(14% is straight -damage, so good against magic too) in that set-up and still have something like +24 Enmity(not sure what the back piece is(cerb or shadow and assuming head is assjammer). It's not a horrid set-up for /war, just not one I would use. Shit is situational though and it's not a horrid appraoch to bloodtanking. They are obviously doing for a -dmg% reduction set-up.

GROUND gear VS. tiamat. And yea, it was really ground gear b/c they changed to bastokan harness thing and etc for air. Didnt check air gear though lol, this was enough...

I like Palmerin's over Koenig for /war and for -magic damage easy. It's a size 3 shield like Koenig and -2% dmg > +5 VIT.

Eep usualy tanks RDM/NIN only changes to PLD/NIN for KB so I guess he goes for a full dmg%- set.
Shield is a personal preference I guess, never asked about it since noone has anything to say about his tanking abilities
Solo tanks about every mob in the game on RDM/NIN
