I think he's been watching what other DRGs wear in town and based his gear on that. Or he's partially a lazy sonofabitch that's waiting on you guys to get lucky in Limbus and not bothering about feet/body for example until Homam.

Nope, he's been around a long time and has seen proper TP gear. 'Fixing' Yellowzm isn't a question of money. He's a 100 Alchemist and is working on Relic. He's got cash. It's not a question of lazy either, or expecting people to hand him Homam. He's just hopeless.

No WAR sub because he "doesn't need it, he pulls plenty of hate as /THF". No /WHM sub because "he never solos". He's actually got /SAM levelled by playing SAM main when he's bored but I've never seen him use it. No ACC/Haste/ATK gear for TP gain (and of course no macro swaps). Sushi for everything**. And for some truly bizarre reason he still uses that stupid Dreziak.

I've long since stopped caring though. It's a lost cause. He's a nice guy and always helpful, he just doesn't Get It.

What we did to fix a DRG in my LS was show him exactly why TP'ing in hecatomb is retarded. We trusted him enough to give him snipers/dusk hands/feet since he wasn't just a random boob, and then we fed him the right foods, gave him all the right stuff. We parsed him in his retarded heca while tp'ing set, then parsed him after dusk + good stuff, and he obviously parsed much higher, we sent him the parses and he never tps in retarded gear again, went out and bought himself dusk and snipers.

However, alot of DRG are stubborn and get offended when you help them in choosing gear sets. So are thieves, like the thief who was hitting for 0-10 telling me that my SH + food combo was gimp compared to his Raparee harness + food combo.

This is his full-time gear, no swaps, not WS gear, And he doesn't have /WAR or /SAM leveled.

Not 'worst' but certainly misguided. He's a nice guy and in my limbus shell, but BG, How do you tell someone who has been "loldrg" for so long "hey, you're gimp" without sounding cruel and having him shut his brain down the second he hears anybody criticize him [which he does. constantly.]

This guy is stuck with BNS. Big number syndrom. He's loading up on str gear for SA+wheeling thrust. Str rings, belt, hands, ect. Then there's the Dreizack, which I never understood. It's got 87 dmg on it... come on... Mezraq has 93. Should be a no brainner. But people like that lance because it used to sell for a lot, and only because it's from a KS99 BCNM. Clearly this guy/gal has no idea what they are doing.

Because apparently, having AF deems it better than not having AF... making it not "worst geared"; because those gimp STR rings and Attack earrings add STR/Attack instead of something retarded like INT/Evasion. Honestly, I don't think anything really belongs in the "worst geared" thread so it shouldn't be that strict. If it were that way, there would be no reason for this thread because it's completely redundant.

I'd wager a bet that he gets it just fine, he just doesn't care. I'm betting he doesn't want to level the subs because it sucks to level subs and so he's just rationalizing his way out of it. He's one of those people thats just not into being pimped out. There are a lot of those players and I have nothing agains them...they just don't really belong in the endgame stuff
