That's on a SAM41/WAR20. I didn't call him on it because I found out about 20 minutes before the PT ended and the rest of his gear wasn't bad, but it still weirded me out... His linkshell is full of melee RDMs, gimp melees and a DRG who think he's hot shit because someone told him VIT is a Jump modifier-- now he only exps in VIT gear.

No, the rest of his gear is shit.

he's definitly not RMT, which makes it even worse, lol. That LS he's in is a long time social LS, recently attempting sky as of like 2weeks ago, but...still....I cried inside....

I don't usually mind if peeps are "NQ" and have one or two odd bits that don't make sense, we were all n00bs once but this just took the piss today.

Yeah, that's a sword offhand and Garuda's dagger in main, he dinged 65 in that party and started going on about how much better Garuda's is than his old dagger, I'm thankful I didn't /check him in the start.
NQ Amemet, Chiv chain and life belt are ok as are the AF legs and Jaridah bits I guess. Rings are those assault rings, Unyielding and whatever the other is...urgh. No crossbow or acid/bloody bolts but a cheap boomerang. God forbid equip swaps.

What was worse that in a fast killing colibri-smashing party of PLD (me), 2xWAR/NIN, BST/NIN, RDM, this guy couldn't land a SATA WS to save his life. Or if he did, he'd land it on the warriors at the start of the fight who'd then lose their food or eat a pecking flurry in the face before my voke/flash would be up again or before cure III/IV spam would get me hate back. Perish the thought of SATAing the tank or knowing how to hide+SATA even after I suggested it. He couldn't get TP fast enough to WS every fight so he'd put random TA's on melees here and there and SA sideways. Am I just spoilt rotten from having partied with my boyfriend's THF most of my PLD leveling so far and gotten used to being able to wear DD gear instead of filling every spot with +enmity and seeing the THF drop third of the mob's HP every fight?
